some new video we got in tonight. a home was destroyed in detroit. it happened on the city's west side. no one was hurt. gas crews were called to the scene to check for any leaks. major flooding in texas to tell you about tonight. these are flooded streets in san antonio. the driver of this white car had to be rescued. firefighters were able to get the man out safely. this was one of several water rescues. many roads were closed because of the high floodwaters. in san antonio firefighters were called in to rescue a woman who got stuck in high water this morning. the woman was already out. her car -- they helped her get to safety step by step. the woman said she hadn't seen

the high water and there weren't any barricades up to warn her. a young georgia boy is being held as a hero tonight. his quick thinking helped save the life of his 2-month-old brother. michael choked on a peppermint. the great grandmother was inside with the kids while the mom was outside. with seconds ticking and the little brother choking, he tried to do something he saw on tv, the heimlich maneuver. >> it ain't coming. he kept doing it. then it came out. thank you, jesus. malik, thank you. >> he was honored by the fire department for his quick thinking. smart little boy. we update statuses. but will you like the new
