starting to see emails about upcoming privacy changes, changes that won't impact just the search engine. google is scrapping the 60 or so privacy issues in favor of just one. the combined strategy puts all of the information in a single place. that goes g mail, google plus, youtube and more. you won't notice anything major when the changes take effect but it gives google more flexibility, similar to the way your g mail and google calendar can sync up now. they will better customize your search results and see ads targeted to your preferences. google says they won't sell your information to advertisers. the policy has raised eyebrows because users can't opt out without closing their account. the changes take effect on march
