the driver of the other vehicle died on the way to the hospital and their car caught on fire. >> a truck driver witnessed the accident. >> the victims in the car traveling in the wrong direction has been identified now as an 18 -year-old, a 19 -year-old and an 18 -year-old. the driver of the other car was 55 -year-old terry davis. still trying to find out if speed and alcohol played a factor. it was 7 days and 27 minutes ago when 68 -year-old beverly moore was carrying her groceries across the road and never made it. she was killed bid by a driver that did not stop. her best friend plans to hold a vigil in her honor tonight at

7:00. two days after tip came into police about a body in a well, they were able to pull the body out of a well. it was in the 11,000 block of old fort road and sat behind an old home. the 74 -year-old fell at a dinner friday night. brooks was attending an event to raise money for the children's center. he was about to get off of the 6-foot-high stage when he leaned against a curtain and thought it was a wall and fell. he has a broken collarbone. >> possible snow showers could be heading our way. we have a look at the first

%c1 fighting cancer is difficult. one problem people face is swelling. i -- what is this? you're treated for cancer and what happens. >> it occurs when there's a compromised system. it could be swelling in an arm, leg, face, any area that could be affected by the treatment. >> how quickly are you getting treated? how quickly does it follow? >> it depends on risk factors that patients are exposed to. early detection is important. >> do a lot of people know about it? >> i would say know, we like to inform our patients ahead of time and empower that with the

information so they're aware that if the symptoms arrive what to do. that could have heaviness, discomfort, the arm or leg feels heavy, the clothes feel tighter. >> i think we have some pictures here. can you describe some of the pictures. this is a patient that had the swelling. >> yes. >> what was the patient's name? >> dawn. >> and what is the treatment? what do you do when you go in? >> depending on what the patient has, we can either impliment drainage, a massage but different because it's specific. exercise, we focus on exercise for the patient, compression bandaging. they help with the edema.

it's usually not associated with pain. any pain you would want to consult with your physician immediately. >> is there one cancer that is more susceptible? >> all are equally susceptible. if the lymph nodes are taken out, they are susceptible. >> talking about in the lobby about lymph nodes in your throat u , ever seen that? >> it can occur in the face. >> what are these? >> these are compression garmets patients can wear if they have swelling in the hands. we have gloves they can wear, the daily activities and work fine. wear on the arm, very comfortable for patients. >> are patients warned about

this when they're coming in to be treated for cancer? >> we like to have patients sit down one or one with one of our therapists and inform them. >> once the treatment is over, is it still around? >> it depends, but often if you're able to address it early on, you're able to reduce it significantly. if they way, it could develop into less. >> you're great. from cancer treatment centers of america. i think we have an education. >> thank you. >> looking at the weather now. now, maryland's most powerful doppler radar and the forecast certified most accurate by weather rate. >> a little bit of a southerly breeze but it's been a quiet sunday, a day cooler than saturday by about 10 degrees, air temperature now 44 degrees.

producing high temperatures up at 50 today. these were running 8-10 degrees cooler than saturday as we get a fresh shot of cooler air. this one with some snow showers and you see it's impacting garrett county and washington county shortly. could we see them giving us a dusting of snow showers tonight? yes, it's definitely possible. we have been above freezing all weekend and if we get below freezing tonight, it would create too many slick spots. we could see spots getting dusted overnight. it begins the surge for the milder air. not so much tomorrow, but tuesday and wednesday look unseasonably warm. looking at the future trend, you can see after the snow

flurries overnight. overall the scenario looks good into tuesday. tuesday we get the winds shift out of the south and that's pushing up, not just sunny conditions but warmer weather. the possibility of a light dusting on car tops, grassy surfaces with the showers coming throughout 11:00. we'll see on that, but tomorrow 45 will melt off anything that does come down. sunny and breezy. tomorrow night cool and clear, but watch the change as we get a wind going into monday and tuesday. you can see, the temperatures will be up in the 60s, and we'll definitely look for improved weather. >> that's great. >> you coming in tomorrow? >> i'll be here. >> how about tuesday? >> we never know.
