it's sad. he's been flailing around trying to go after me. you twach handshake your head. it's been painfully revealing to watch. >> reporter: kelly, romney, who's obviously, trying to hold on to this momentum at least for the next 24 hours to get through florida. >> i know there's been negative campaign ads. so how is newt gingrich trying to win back some of the voters he lost in the past week? >> reporter: what i felt today was a grass roots approach. we went to a calling center in tam amount of they were bringing in more volunteers, going after the female vote. newt gingrich mace daughter showed up. she started making a few phone calls and then she talked to us. >> if you don't win in florida, what's next for the campaign? >> we're planning to move on. we expect to do very well here but the reality is even after florida, only 5% of the delegates will be awarded. there's a long path to the
