don't know. >> reporter: for jeff any improvements to make this stretch of belaire road safer can't be soon enough. he has spent most of the morning on the phone with grief counselors trying to deal with last night's death. he was the one who ran to try to help the victims in the seconds after the crash. >> nobody got ejected. the one lady got out and fell -- she collapsed getting out of the car. the other lady -- >> reporter: in perry hall, jeff hager. >> we have to feel for jeff. a 42-year-old woman survived the collision. she is right now at shock trauma and we wish her the best in this.

again, jeff, hang in there tonight friend. a washington dc area medic who fell from an enter state interstate into a creek has decide. he was responding to a car fire. he tried to climb over to the car, slipped fell 20 feet in to the shallow creek. he was rescue from the creek but died this afternoon and an investigation into what led to the accident is continuing at this hour. investigators trying to determine what caused a fire at a plant in solace point road. when firefighters arrived there was smoke from the second and 4 floors. of 2010 there were a series of fires same building. george hughley look away as photographs showed rescue works fighting to save yardly love. the first call came out it was for an alcohol overdose when

they arrived and saw bruises, cuts and blood they knew it was something else. a lot of action in court today. >> reporter: in court we heard testimony regarding yardly love's medical condition before her death and her appearance after it. we also heard from the other woman and the other man in relationships between love and hughley. love's doctor from her time as ayala cross player at the university of virginia testified that despite her taking the drug a derol she had no reason to pass away in may of 2010. police and rescue crews said it that when they arrived they found a large hole in the bedroom door and her eight eye was swollen shut. burns described a friendship with her that included several hook ups over the years that they were friends. he described a visit to the

area on february 27th. he said he entered the apartment after hearing a woman screaming for help. he opened the door and saw hughley with his arm around love's neck. he said he hooked up with love the week before she was killed. that prosecutorrers say led to the threatening e-mail that hughley sent to her just days before she was killed. we heard from the other woman in the relationship who graduated from the university in 2010. she said she and hughley never dated but did hook up several times including in the spring of 2010. the prosecution is trying to show that all of these events giving hughley motive to kill love. the defense will argue all of these are showing that the relationship was fall agriculture part that wound up with an accidental death. reporting live, abc 2news. >> and stay bus as we cover

it illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to use indoor tanning beds, today the senator sent a bill saying teen is be denied access to electric tanning beds, in 2009 howard became the first jurisdiction to retrick teens, last year california put in a law keeping minors out. right now they can use tanning bed it's they get permission from a parent. >> right now our law provides that minors, children can go into the indoor tanning bed, that cause cancer that will increase their chance ever getting potentially deadly skin cancer, can do it with a parent's note. >> very no family history of skin cancer. however i did go tanning when i was a teen. from the surgeries to countless hours of worry for me and my family that continue, i continue to get tests all the
