testify that love's blood alcohol level in the last hours of her life would have been higher than what was found at her autopsy. the second witness an expert on found different findings than the two called by the prosecution. >> the defense is going to raise the possibility that there was an aassault that took place but that he didn't kill her. >> reporter: after the prosecution rested itself estes itself case the defense attorney argued that there wasn't enough evidence to support the murder charges and he filed to dismiss. the judge disagreed and overruled the motion. >> this is not a situation where they have to prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt. they have to have enough evidence to go forward. that is the judge takes the evidence in the light most favorable to the state. >> reporter: this morning several lacrosse players testified the teammates talking about his drunken behavior the day before love's death,

have you heard what time it's coming back? >> reporter: you know it may be the weekend before everybody gets restored. its been a busy day. the good news is that the gas main has been fixed, its right up under that truck right there. asset yellow caps, that's what was messed up when the gas main ruptured. the bad news is that they still have a long way to go. let me show you. about 900 homes were affected and they still have about 100 to go to get inside to cut off the gas. when that is done they will have to restart the gas line and then go through the slow process of cutting the gas back onto each home. because this all started with the water main break for some the water got into the gas line and now they will have to go through the gas line to get the water out before all gas can be restored. >> once we get through the process of draining the water and the saidment out of the main we have to go back into

the customer's homes to restart gas service. we will need customers to work with us, we need to get times to meet us so we will do that but we need customers so we can get them back in service as safely and quickly as possible. >> another good news, the power is still on so a lot of people were able to heat up water and able to cook. that kind of thing but for some that have gas heat it's another night under the extra blankets here. you should also make sure the person that comes to your house works for bge or -- is a plumb tear will come into repair the gas. always ask for identification. if you have questions you can call bge or call the city police. reporting live. >> >> reporter: the much

cluster of heavy rain in the core of the system. that could change through the day tomorrow but we expect that area to pass just south of us. high pressure controls tonight keeping us high and dry as clouds come in by 11, 12:00. the rain will be several hours behind the clouds thickening up. very dry air at the service. initially the rain will evaporate on the air down, verga rain but rain will come down and as we go past 2:00. the trend showing the key factor in tomorrow's rain chance and that's after 2:00 most of the moisture stays south, stay down in virginia, looks like it may make a slight move to the north toward 8:00. that would bring it very close so perhaps some spots could get a few downpours late tomorrow evening and this is off by 50 miles we could get quite a çk round of rain but it clears out for friday, we are high, dry and sunny to kick off the weekend and a day like today on friday. get ready to enjoy that. overnight tonight 35, clouds on
