the teen's death is an opportunity for parents to talk to their kids about the dangers of drinking, especially drinking four loko, which the 13-year-old's mother said he was drinking before his death. just one four loko has the same amount of alcohol as four beers. after a maryland ban was put into place in 2010, caffeine was pulled from the cans but you will' still find the drinks on store shelves now. the pain at the pump isn't getting better. the cost of gas hit its highest price ever. over the past month gas prices have soared 18 cents a gallon and it might get worse. economists predict the naptional average could hit $4.25 by april. jury deliberations in the murder trial of george huguely won't begin again until wednesday. huguely is accused of killing his ex-girlfriend, yeardley love in her off campus apartment in

debris. people are without power in vest -- in west virginia after a heavy snowstorm. as many as 52,000 customers were affected by outages yesterday and today. crews are still hard at work trying to get the power restored. what a difference a day can maifnlgt i mean, we were did have some pretty active weather across southern maryland. snow is in the southern part of the state but none of that today. crystal clear. our satellite picture including down through central virginia where they did get several inches of snow a lot of melting with the sunshine. temperatures well above fried freeze -- above freezing. goldsboro 43. we had light snow, 42. 46 -- the rest of the evening will fall through the evening. things will begin to change last we were move toward the latter part of the week.

landed safely. today glenn said his concern is about the budget cuts in the program and he said he hopes an american will land on mars. well, it's that time vive the year again -- tax season and the irs is warning about a dozen tax scams to avoid. we have the details. >> reporter: with the deadline to nile your taxes less than two months away, the irs is out with their annual list of the most common ways taxpayers cheat the system or get cheated. beware of these. topping the list is identity list. scammers will steal your information to file fraudulent returns. they can get this by phishing. be aware of unsolicited emails or sketchy websites. coming in at number three, the irs warns these professionals sometimes take more than their fair share. this may sound obvious, but the
