chestertown and northeast, by this afternoon, though, temperatures possibly right around 60 degrees, maybe higher. let's get a check of the traffic with angela. good morning. good morning to you. we cleared the crash as we mentioned in arundel county. it complicateed the drive, on route 4, that closure re-opened at 258. traffic heavy in that area. we are now in howard county, ellicott with a crash. this is on route 100 at waterloo. traffic is slowly squeezing by. just a brief delay there. we are dealing with back ups on the beltway. if you are coming in from bel air or harford county, your drive starts out nice and easy with no delays as you can see at 152, past this point, you will see congestion, we are seeing healthy delays on 95 southbound, making your way to the topside of the beltway, north of maryland 43. back over to you. new information in the shooting inside a royal farms store. it happened at harford and echo

dale avenue in downtown baltimore. linda so is standing by with the latest on the investigation, like we were saying earlier, police are just getting started on this. >> the two suspects are on the loose, police reviewing surveillance video from inside the store for more information. the victim, a man in his 40s, was shot in the chest and taken to hopkins in stable condition. the robbery happened before 10:00 last night, at the royal farms in hamilton. two suspects walked inside a store, announced a robbery and took cash ask cigarettes from behind the counter. one shot the victim and both of the suspects ran from the store. police don't know why that victim was singled out. now the silver lining in the case, police say a good samaritan was able to stay calm and stayed with the victim until medics arrived. linda so, abc2 news. jurors in the george huguely murder trial will start deliberations today. the former university of virginia lacrosse player is

charged with killing his ex- girlfriend, yeardly love. love who is from cockeysville was found dead in her apartment in may of 2010. medical expert testified several possible cause of love's death from blunt force trauma injuries. huguely faces up to life in prison if convict of the most serious charge against him. new this morning, five people are dead after shooting at spa in nor cross, georgia. police officials say the motive appears to have been that of murder-suicide. authorities are not talking about the relationship between the gunman and the victim. stephanie rawlings blake announced a plan to manage the baltimore grand prix race. after a public review, the final contract is now up for vote and happening today. sherrie johnson joins us here to explain what this means. >> a few changes to make things a little bit better. racing is headed back to baltimore for a second year w a

few minor management changes. the city's board of estimates is expected to approve a 5- year contract with new promoter down force racing. the 2011 baltimore grand prix, was a success, but had bad management. it brought in $47 million for the economy. and the former grand prix promoter, baltimore racing development was the center for lawsuits for not paying the bills. the contract has safeguards in place to protect the city from losing money. the city can inspect financial records at any time to check out the group's debt. the contract calls for keeping the races finances private but race organizers say city hall could choose to reveal the information. down force racing will hold events if baltimore on labor day weekend, 2012 through 2016. the vote expected today at 9:00 a.m. at the board of estimates meeting at city hall. sherrie johnson, abc2 news. senate committee scheduled to hold a hearing on a measure that could expands gambling in

maryland. allowing table games, blackjack and casino to be bill in prince georges county. the bill would put a referendum following maryland voters allowing voters to have a say on whether or not this is a go. driving up the cost of gas in the u.s. analysts say u.s. crude jumped 2% all due in part to iran's decision to cut oil exports to britain and france. the jump isn't demands issue but more of a fear of shortage. the average price for regular unled second $3.57 per gallon. prices could get as high as $5 that could be coming by the summer. new consumer watchdog agency is looking in to the costly overdraft fees charged by the big banks. the group says they will ask the banks for information about how the fees affect customers and how overdraft protection is marketed. investigation could result in new rules and lawsuits if banks

dealing with colder temperatures as we head in to your weekend. before we talk about the colder temperatures, let's talk about what we have for today. this is the scenario, yesterday gusty winds out there. temperature came in around 49 degrees. it felt colder, the reason why, the winds were blowing. forecasting a high of 60 degrees. we could get warmer or colder. depends on the sunshine lingering through the afternoon. we had the winds at southwest, it's going to boost the temperature. but if we have more clouds, this temperature maybe could be around 58 degrees, 59. flirting with the 60-degree mark. breezes pick up in to the afternoon, just like yesterday. tonight's temperature around 42 degrees, we have the chance for the scattered showers in the forecast. we will stay fairly mild. by tomorrow, i'm forecasting a high around 66 degrees, and we will be warmer, the sun-cloud
