soon gets surrounded by the chinese police, but the man just tries to get away. this officer runs after him. >> where does he think he is going? >> here you see him backing up almost over a barricade, and then he is facing oncoming traffic. >> he gets out and gets in an argument saying, hey, i'm just trying to drive here. these guys come right over and say, no way. they ripped this out of the car, and they have him surrounded. >> if anything, this video shows us that road rage is, in fact, universal. it doesn't just happen here in the united states. in china, which is the world's largest car market, you got to wonder if more cars equals more road rage. >> more people equals more road rage. you're talking over a billion people there, and if even half of those people have cars, imagine that kind of traffic. >> gm sold more cars in china last year than ever before, so

you got to think police might have to start getting used to a lot of these cases of road rage. i'm shocked that he just got a bear hug by a bunch of chinese police. >> the chinese police are notoriously tough. we see him get bear hugged. we don't know what happened to him. he might have got 20 years in prison because of something like this. >> we all know anything can happen on live tv, and that's why you want the unflappable story telling of adrian pederson. she's on fla doing a live report on reezing gas prices. look over her shoulder. accident right behind her on live tv. she doesn't miss a beat. >> so we could see fewer people driving. >> it's the anchor who cracks me up. >> spun out right behind you. did you see that, adrian? >> i didn't, but now i did, so we're going to -- >> the anchor kind of makes a quick and probably shocked by the gas prices.

stoo maybe they saw the live cameras and the tv truck and all the bright lights. maybe that's what caused the accident. did she go back to her report? >> they cut right away from it. yeah, car accident. it looks like in the next half hour they came and did an update. >> last half hour you saw an accident happening behind, and did you make sure everybody is okay? >> yeah, exactly, rod. we went up there and checked it out, and what we found out is that it's between a cab and another car. both people are okay. >> i have to give her credit in another way, though. it didn't mess up her read whatsoever. she didn't even flinch when this huge accident went down behind her. it could have been coming straight for her, and she didn't budge. >> you're right. very solid, unflappable reporter. when the anchor asked is everybody okay, she looks and goes, ah, they're okay. >> looks like everybody is okay. they are getting out of the car. >> they're okay. >> she has no idea if they're okay or not. i'm pretty sure there isn't a lesson in journalism school like here's what you do when there's

a big car accident behind you during a live shot. >> we could see fewer people driving. >> hurricane coverage, that's your girl. not long ago i told you guys about this story. science on the side of route 22 in jefferson county, ohio. >> all right, sir. you okay? >> pulled up to the guy, and he happened to will. saw awe guy on the side of the road and saved his life. >> totally by chance, too. right place at the right time. >> according to emts, it was because of trooper bodo's swift actions that this man survived. the man inside the car is 43-year-old john courtwright. i wanted to find out even more about the trooper and what happened on this day, so "right this minute" via skype, we have trooper bodo from columbus,
