earners to. they say reduing the benefit will make it harder for people to become homeowners. the rally lalast for nine to 11 -- will last from nine to 11 and realtors and homeowners are invited. they have been mounting a campaign against the governor's proposal using ads and online pieces. linda so, abc2 news. thanks. today the gp county fire chief will tell us about a fire that injured seven firefighters in riverdale on friday night. this is the video. this afternoon we are going to learn what caused the fire and get an update on a firefighter's conditions. they were injured when fireball formed on the first floor of a home. we will keep you posted on what they find. one person is dead and three missing after a u.s. coast guard helicopter crashed in mobile bay in alabama. this all happened on a training mission last night. helicopter was out on a mission in the aviation training center in mobile alabama. two helicopterers in boat were conducting a search for the missing people. young -- helicopter

and welcome back. today some teachers in ohio tried to return to work and cope with the death of three of the students. >> they are going to be returning to the high school where police say a teen opened fire on a monday morning. >> josh booth from the station in ohio is live in chardon with an update this morning. good to see you again. >> reporter: yeah. good to see you guys glad to be here in baltimore. you know i got to say, teacherin fact will be the one returning. student not returning officially fully until tomorrow. in fact they will be allowed to come back to school with their parents for an abbreviateed day. and then looking ahead to friday, it will be the first full day back for everybody here in the chardon community. i am at the board of education right now just down the way from the high school. it's evident the state the country for that matter behind the people here in this

community outside the cleveland. the vigil was held last night and hundreds and hundreds of people showed up and in fact the church was so packed that people stood outside hundreds of -- hundreds of them holding scannedels and standing in university the embracing the people here of the community knowing what they are going through right now and paying respects to the three victims. of course, 16-year-old danny parmertor is one and russell king junior and demetrius and the two others injured but notkilled in the shootings only 48 hours ago here in the community of chardon. you know, it's been 48 hours if you can believe it since all this took place. this community certainly will never be the same. i want to talk about the suspect in all this. prosecutors say 17-year-old it can j. lane in fact -- t.j. lane will remain in police

custody. charges will have to be made by thursday. about 24 hours from now the prosecutor said that lane did indeed admit to the shooting and he said it had nothing to do with any bullying rather mental illness. so, still waiting for a lot of details and motive behind all this. and as to why this happened and waiting for this over the coming days and i am sure we will be learning morep back to you guys. >> you know, before we let you go, there was a report earlier that lane could be staying in prison for or in jail rather up to 15 days. now he could be be released after that? is that accurate or procedural?>> reporter: you know i am not certain of that to be honest i know yesterday the judge had to make the official decision and he said indeed lane will stay in the detention facility not too far from where i am right now. the next court date will not be -- that's when they will decide further action.

series stars we have a story on that in a bit on netflix. but first, we want to tell you about a government report that says radiation levels from the full body scanners at airports aren't dangerous for passengers. they look at independent radiation studies on the back scatter x-ray machines and the radiation levels from those scanners are so low a passenger would have to be seen 365 days a year to reach radiation dose levels. the season opener will be be wednesday trying to avoid a conflict of president obama's nomination speech. scheduled to take place the democratic national convention. this is the league's first wednesday game since 1948. the season begins september 5th with a defending superbowl champs giants playing host to a team. changes coming to baltimore inner harbor. >> a big green monster. take a look at chessy.

as we go through today, i am not dealing with severe weather but we do have a chance for maybe a rumble of thunder out there. so this is your future trend. this is going to pick up on what's happening. so we can see at 8 this morning. we are looking at the greens here. this moves into western maryland. so the western counties i think maybe carroll and frederick county will see a little drizzle out there. this is very light in nature and remember, we have to moisten up the atmosphere. it won't be until around 10 when you are looking at those yellowish colors and orange colors and that's when we will see lighter to moderate rain moving into the forecast. be prepared around 10 or 11 that you will be seeing the rain and then we will get another dose of the rain as we go into 8:00 this evening. that pushes out of here and we will see more sunshine in the forecast drying out as we go into tomorrow. but for today, the temperature coming in right around 46 degrees, rain at times and it will be chilly. let's get a check of your traffic with angela. >> reporter: good morning.

and good morning everyone. we cleared the accident up in abington but we had another trouble spot if you are traveling on 895 probably sitting in travel traffic and it looks like they reopened all lanes north and southbound. the accident was actually northbound 895 just at the harbor tunnel. we had traffic sitting still up to the toll plaza. we just reopened the lanes the southbound direction back all the way up to lombard street and you may want to avoid this by hopping on i-95 and taking the fort mchenry tunnel. traveling around the beltway you shouldn't run into trouble spots. also on u.s. 50 getting a live look at 50 and maryland 2 had a problem on the bay bridge a few minutes ago. a disabled blocking a westbound lane. crews got that out of the way and that delay has disbursed as well. now back over to you. >> thanks.>> go ahead. i was reading. >> we are eager to tell outnews. after being ushered out of park the occupy movement is returning. >> we told you about this
