south white marsh to the topside of the beltway. harrisburg, making the drive through parkton, drive through cockeysville, to the topside of 695, on the brakes occasionally at warren road. following breaking news this morning, arundel county, a fire gutted two homes in the pasadena area we started reporting on this this morning, it's in the 1000 block of cutler harbor, pasadena. the area we are talking about, we find linda so, she has been on the scene. what can you tell us? >> reporter: firefighters are wrapping up operations here, the fire is out, they spent the last couple of hours going through the two town homes that were damaged in the fire, looking for hot spots. things look great right now. the two homes went up in flames around 3:20 this morning when firefighters got here, they found those two town home tons end this is the 1000 block of

cutler harbor in pasadena, they were engulfed. we have pictures that were taken. courtesy of the arundel breaking news page on facebook. those two town homes were fully engulfed. it took 76 firefighters to put the fire out. in all, about 15 pieces of fire equipment, arrived here, they could this a 2-alarm fire. the good news this morning is that no one was injured in the fire. two families displaced including four adults, two children and one dog, we are told red cross is on scene there, they arrived to assist the familys that have been displaced. again, firefighters right now are wrapping things up, they were able to get this fire out in an hour. the last couple of hours they've been spending going through the town homes looking making sure there are no hot spots. things look good this morning. live in pasadena, linda so, abc2 news.

a school bus fire, charred bus, all that is left after the fire in chester town, 28 kids were on board and headed to kent county middle school and one lit a marine flair. new this morning, george washington university says students faculty and parents were alerted of a possible gunman, u.s. secret service said a man was seen headed towards the campus. authorities searched the area around the school's foggy bottom campus but didn't find suspects. a volunteer worker for a candidate has been charged in a stabbing death. police say it's over a dog defecating in his yard. robert wright was walking his friend's dog when his neighbor became angry and witnesses say culvert claimed the dog had gone to the bathroom on his property. an argument ensued and culvert stabbed wright to death. a courtroom brawl in massachusetts all of it caught on tape.

a murder suspect's appearance before a judge was stopped by shouting and violence. the relatives of the victim punched the accused killer as he was walking in the courtroom. the room had to be cleared. the hearing for the suspect went on later as planned. a fight on a southwest airlines flight , the dispute over nail polish. jean ny was painting her nails , the flight attendant asked her to stop, she did but went to the bathroom. a flight attendant was waiting for her to exit the bathroom and the verbal confrontation started. >> she was so loud. i'm like stop. i was loud. >> when the flight landed she was handcuffed and thrown in jail for ten hours , the judge dismissed the charges and she was released. they are man's best friend,

talk to people as they were coming back from voting. the focus is on the congressional race and another long time congresswoman. the focus on the rest of the country is the presidential campaign, 66 delegates up for grabs today. ohio is certainly a battle ground state in the upper coming general election. it could define what candidates go forward from here. the candidates have been busy at diners like this one. the focus on the speeches, especially mitt romney and rick santorum have been the economy and jobs, what they would do when they go up against president obama if they are the gop candidate. the other two candidates, ron paul and newt gingrich are buried behind in the polls for the most part. it is all rick santorum and

for 16-year-old demetrious, one of the victims. prosecutors trying to limit the release of more information about lane. he is charged with three counts of murderer and felony assault in connection with the shooting a at the high school. police reports and court records show he had a troubled past. at 15, he was charged with juvenile assault for putting his uncle in a choke hold and punching him in the face. his parents were charged with domestic violence. his father served prison time for assaulting a police officer and charged with assault on another woman. lane lived with his grandparents. another hearing is scheduled for march 19th where authorities plan to discuss a motion to transfer the case to an adult court. sherrie johnson, abc2 news. breaking news, police are investigating a shooting that left a child dead and a mother injured. the 24 year old was woken up by

someone hitting her and saw her son bleeding and realized she was bleeding. her son's father called 911, he owned a handgun and the investigators believe the child was playing with the weapon. a man hung a dead raccoon from a noose. joshuah wall pleaded guilty and police say he had an argument with the son of the family in april of 2010, and he made a noose and hung the raccoon from the front pore porch in the middle of the night. later this month, tsa says personnel will be able to avoid long lines at airports. troops and reservists will be allowed to use the precheck lane and don't need to be in uniform but must have military id present. fees on checked bags mean passengers are bringing more
