nearerment. >> what happened next from someone who was there to see it all. >> a wrong-way driver and a spring break tragedy. >> oh, man. >> a frantic effort to save lives. >> spectacular scenery on a tourist cruise in the antarctic, and then -- >> talk about right place at the right time. >> a vacation video you won't want to miss. they lined up to hear their national anthem. >> hit it. >> but things got all loco when they pressed play. >> are you serious? we'll get things started today with an incredibly rare event all caught on camera. take a look at this. this happened on a beach in brazil. now, look in the center of your screen, what does it look like you're seeing there? >> something is going on in the water. >> fish or something? >> it's a pod of dolphins. keep your eye on this pod of dolphins. because they're about to do

something extraordinary and dangerous for them. >> wait a minute. are they going to beach themselves? >> they do. according to reports, there were 20 to 30 dolphins in this pod that all came ashore together. >> whoa. these people could literally go up there and tough them if they wanted to. >> and they do, steven. that's a great call. because they saw all these dolphins were struggling. so watch what the beach-goers do, they head in and rescue the dolphins. they realized that you can drag them by their back fin . in about two minutes they got every single dolphin off of that beach and back into the ocean where they swam away. this video was shot bay german tourist name gerde tower and his friend mario was with him on

this day. we have mario with us via skype from brazil. tell me you what were experiencing when you came to this beach. >> we realized something on the water. then it came nearer and nearer. then we realized that they were dolphins. and we had our cameras with us, and we were absolutely confused, paralyzed it was overwhelming. >> did you actually get in there and help drag these dolphins back to safety? >> i made a try, but i wasn't that good with the grasp. >> is that gerde behind you? >> hi. i'm gerde from germany. >> did you talk to some of the people who pulled the dolphins back in. >> yes. it was difficult they said. they had to wait for the water, otherwise they wouldn't be able to pull the dolphins back. it was quite amazing.

this video proves sadly that your life can change dramatically in just seconds. an ohio state trooper was responding to calls about a driver driving in the wrong direction on a bowling green freeway. >> i would like to report an emergency. got a car going south in the northbound lanes. >> this trooper swerved out of the way, immediately turns around and just seconds later pulls up to the scene of a crash. >> oh, man. >> this crash, of course, was caused by the wrong-way driver, 69-year-old winfrede deline. he crashed into a carful of sorority sisters who were on their way to the airport. the front is completely smashed in. this is the part that abc 6 in ohio showed, it shows the

passerby trying to help the girls. but listen to the girls inside the car. anybody in there? >> help. >> it's going to be okay. we'll get you, okay? >> pay close attention to the other side of the girl's car. a fire starts on the car of the 69-year-old driver. she ended up dying at the scene. >> what happened to the sorority sisters? >> three of the girls that were in the car did die from their injuries in this accident. two were left in critical condition. we know anything about this driver that was going the wrong way? >> we don't yet know. the case is still being investigated. a group of tourist near antarctica got a sight of their life when they where cruising by checking out this iceberg that they noticed was starting to

drop big chunks of ice. >> oh. >> whoa. >> they see a few trunks drop off. listen to the sound. >> whoa. >> here one of the tourists says we should probably hang out and see what happens here. good thing they did. >> whoa! >> no way. >> it looked like an implosion of a building. >> that's exactly what they're calling this. and iceberg implosion. you see the whole thing collapse into the ocean. debris, ice chunks and water spray the boat. the tourists are completely elate elated. >> talk about right place at the right time. >> experts think this iceberg was thousands of years old. which is pretty cool. >> they saw it fall into the water, just like that. it's spectacular just to see the big chunks of it falling down, let alone the whole entire

iceber iceberg. >> quick thinking by the guy who started rolling here, because, i mean, talk about once in a lifetime opportunity. >> miami-dade police officers are allowed to use their patrol cars for personal errands. but not for this. what did you just see? >> a mattress and a box spring? >> would be a mattresset on a cn my life. can't use a miami-dade car to do things like that. the police tracked down the person it was officer sandra lyle, she was relieved of duty. >> it embarrasses not only the officer but in turn it embarrasses our department. >> she is set to retire pretty soon. still, you're not supposed to go to big lots which is where somebody said they spotted her what cracked me up, they tracked

down her brother to get a comment from him. >> wow. >> you got a pickup truck right here. >> yeah. >> she could have used it? >> when the family members need to use it, they can use it. >> brother really sold her down the river. >> i thought maybe for a second this mattress and box spring were evidence in a case. >> or fell off a highway and she was picking it up. but she went to big lots. you have to be able to use good judgment when you're a police officer. this, to me, says bad judgment. >> they did a little investigation and she has not had quite the exemplary career with the miami-dade police department. she's been reprimanded at least 15 times. >> in her retirement she will sleep well. the question is what is her sleep number? >> 911. ♪ ♪ small-town america at its best a community effort to give

lindsay, what went into this video and why did you create it? >> i work with emily, she asked me to produce a video, i said i would. i spent two weeks researching, it occurred to me i would have to make something that was special, if you wanted people to latch on to it. >> could you run down some other issues that you have with the library? >> we are a tuiny, rural town i western massachusetts, and there's no place for people to gath. >angwater. >> running water. >> maybe a toilet. >> i think people now a days would argue who needs a library now what would you say to those people? >> a library is a structure where information, literature, entertainment is shared. if the library were just about books, it would be a limited resource for people. but it's not. it's an expansive resource always being invented. >> what happens if you don't

website called scareyourselfeveryday.com where he blogged and blogged about his daily experiences. >> all right. here we go. >> a different kind of experience f experience every day for a year. >> octopus and pickled pigs feet. >> he just wrapped up his 365-day journey. so i wanted to find out what this journey was like. so "right this minute" via skype from los angeles, california, we have gregory joining us. tell me what inspired you to begin this challenge? >> i started the blog because i was sitting around my apartment every night after work. i kind of felt like life was passing me by. early on i made this video. the first one where you see me dancing around like an idiot. i ended up putting it on the site read it, and i got 100,000 views in the first day. i got a lot of attention for the blog which was great. >> are you scared to be on "right this minute" right now?

>> yeah, a little bit. >> what's the one thing you would never do again that you did? you would never do it again in a million years? >> that's an easy one. getting the colonic, the colon hydrotherapy. >> what is next now that you're done with this project. >> i'm going to keep writing in the blog, keep doing scary things. i also want to try to make a community site. a lot of people are interested in this. they want to know how to get started themselves. a community where people can share ideas and experiences would be really cool. so what does a 12-gauge baseball bat do to a baseball? >> baseball bat? >> spf russia is a wiley popular internet channel where this russian -- >> we will get a nice little pop. >> tests different weapons. today he has a shotgun and he describes all the different technicalities of the shotgun.

it look like a little bird. i like it. >> i do, too. >> have you ever used the phrase i'll do it when pigs fly. >> all the time. >> get to doing. pay attention to this little piglet in the middle of his brothers and sisters there? >> oh! >> what did he do to make his mama do that? >> it's feeding time for this pig and her piglets. if you notice, the pig in the middle here gets a little too close to mama's feed. watch what mama does. >> not even a warning shot. if that was a football field that would have been like a field goal. i'm surprised they didn't zoom out so we can see how far the pig went. >> let's see this in slow motio motion. >> it's so sad because the pig is waging his tail and he flies out of the shot. >> all the other pigs are scared after that.

you know what? don't mess with mom's food. >> guy named freddie wong and his group of buddies came up with a pretty cool prank on their friend benji. their idea is to say benji, we'll show you magic tricks. one of them, we'll hold a ball of water on the ceiling, you'll hold a broomstick and pin that bowl of water on the ceiling and we'll make the water disappear. the prank being that they all walk away and benji is balancing the water on the ceiling. they warm him up with a card trick. >> back up. >> here's where they're supposed to make the water disappear, and the joke is on benji. >> now i will make the water disappea disappear. >> it turns out the joke is on everybody else.
