brutality. but cops clamp down in what looks like a brutal fashion. >> nothing a little tear gas and some stun grenades can't fix. remember that baby gorilla that needed a name? >> i said it should be named steven because you look alike. >> the vote is in. today we get the answer. we actually decided to go with -- >> oh. >> see why pole vaulting plus frisbee equals one epic trick you have to be high to pull off. and it's the sexy new book being coined as mommy porn. now a mom blogger explains the raw controversy the. >> like a normal weekend for you. >> or a good spring break. well get things started today with some violence caught on video and the story behind it. this happened in montreal, canada. we got this video from the montreal gazette. this is footage of an annual

protest against police brutality. and the ironic thing here is we see a lot of police trying to get this under control in what looks like a brutal fashion. >> about a thousand protesters showed up in montreal for this protest. this is the 15th annual protest against police brutality. they did start throwing bottles, rocks and things at the police. the police ended up using tear gas, pepper spray, as you can see stun grenades. but the protesters did do a lot of property damage in these protests. they actually broke bank windows, store windows, they looted stores. they actually flip this police car. 226 people were arrested during this protest. >> i wouldn't necessarily call this police brutality. i would call this police doing what they need to do to get a violent protest under corol.

>> nsivti. there have been several protests in this area over the last few weeks over potential tuition hikes. a protester was severely injured in the eye during a confrontation with police as they were trying to get the protest under control. it's kind of hard to prove a point when you're doing the same thing and you're being violent. >> the police chief said a small number of protesters who did get violent did mess it up for the other protesters who came and intended to protest peacefully. >> that seems like it's always the case. always a small amount of people ruin it for the big group and ruin the overall cause of this thing. this is dash cam video from a desoto police officers camera in texas. he pulled over a burglary suspect. he saw the suspect trying to reach for something inside the console. he got the guy out, but the guy fought back. he struggles with this guy for a

few seconds. he fights with the officer a bit more. eventually the suspect gets away from him and jumps back in his car. the officer attempts to tase the suspect. the taser hits the truck and actually gives the officer a small shock. you see the taser wire still hanging out of the door? >> yeah. >> what in the world is going on? >> he backs up. he reaches for his rep. but the truck takes off. >> shoot the tires. shoot the tires. >> oh, my gosh. >> during a pursuit of about 100 miles per hour this pickup truck runs a red light. watch what happens. >> that's a cement truck that just broadsided this pickup tru truck. the suspect was killed. the driver of the cement truck sustained nonlife-threatening

injuries. >> once you're pulled over like that you're already on camera. your plates are called in. you will to the get away, even if you take this guy on a 20-minute chase. >> if they guy had stopped, maybe he would have gotten a couple years for theft, now he's serving a life sentence. it can be easy to look good on school picture day, right? >> but -- >> can be more difficult to look good in your mugshot. yeah. it appears as though orlando, florida is a hot bed for horrendous mugshots. because the daily mail compiled this collection. almost a hall of fame, if you will, of horrible, awful mugshots. this first one we see donald waite. it appears as though he had a series of mugshots. this one back from 2002. he has more hair. it appears as he lost the hair

he also gained a bunch of tattoos. >> that's the same guy? >> yeah. >> this one is jonathan mcmillan. also has a series of mugshots. in his first, tough guy, cocky, i'm cool. i got arrested. by this other one, he looks a little different. >> got the cocky beat out of him, it looks like. >> rhonda harrison. i have to say that's probably the surprised emotion. but it's weird that she is surprised because this was her fourth arrest in five months. this is mr. roger whit. he has had nine mugshots over his criminal career. i don't know what that is. here we have michael bombbach. channeling his best katy perry in one mugshot with pink hair. >> going back in time. starting out with katy perry to florence henderson. >> we hope we never see any of our rtm viewers on these lists.

>> check out this surveillance video caught in mexico. this is a man walking across the street. at the top of your screen, a few seconds later a couple of men walking up on the sidewalk. both wearing white shirts. the man across the street and the two men find themselves in about the same area. then a fourth man goets out of parked car. notice the bus that is driving up on the street. >> whoa. >> i can't tell whether somebody just ignored a stop sign, but another car just straight up smashes into the front of the bus sending it straight in the direction of where these men are standing. >> whoa. >> the bug ended up striking the man that got out of the parked car. >> oh. >> the other men were able to run out of the way of this bus. but that fourth man did end up sustaining critical injuries. >> it looks like he might be all

dash cam video from a police trooper's cruiser captured a short but scary chase. the suv up ahead crashes into a gasoline tanker. >> oh. >> carrying about 8,000 gallons of fuel. the suspect in that suv jumps out of the car. police chase him down and arrest 43-year-old brian yelly on suspicion of stealing an suv earlier in the day. you think this could be bad it gets even worse. >> a gas truck, that's the worse thing you can run into. at first it doesn't look like it will be that bad. moments later flames erupt, now the police cruiser backs his car out of the way. everybody else flees and gives this as much room as they can. >> this is horrifying because you can see in the video it's a

who doesn't remember this little guy, right? >> love him. >> this is a little baby gorilla at the gulf springs zoo in florida. we first met him a few weeks ago. he had to be taken care of by the staff 24 hours a day. we also learned that he didn't yet have a name. and steven humbly suggested -- >> yes. i said he should be named steven because we do kind of look alike. >> to reveal the name of this baby gorilla, we have the ladies of the zoo. our fingers are crossed.

what is the name? >> well, we would love to tell you guys that it was steven but we actually decided to go with kigali. >> oh! >> kigali. >> i understand. does he have a middle name? >> does he have a middle name? steven? >> maybe. >> i don't think they like your name, dude. >> no. no. man. i thought today was going to be the day that a little monkey was going to be named after me. a little gorilla. >> so how has his progress been? >> he's been doing really great. he's chewing on a piece of celery right now. he's not ready to consume whole food yesterday, but his top and bottom incisors are comingle mo the back. >> how much does he weigh now? he was five pounds. >> 9 1/2 pounds. >> big and strong. nice. >> has he learned his name?

does he respond to it yet? >> he's not quite at that level yet. >> is he on display yet? >> yes, people have been able to see him for a while now. we're in the animal nursery for several hours throughout the day. >> are there any other baby animal coming up that we could name steven? any donkeys? >> it is springtime, i'm sure there will be some baby goats. we will see what we can work out. >> steven the goat. >> that's fine, too. >> that's my spirit animal, the goat. get ready to be impressed, steven. >> i'm ready. >> this is alexander koblikov, juggling ten balls. watch this. not only that, he does a pirouette and keeps on juggling. >> there are like eight of these in the air at the same time. how do you control -- >> i don't know.

koblikov lives in the ukraine, and he went to a school in kiev where he learned to juggle. it is not easy. this guy is one of the best jugglers in the world according to many youtube posters. >> are those softballs? bouncy -- what are those? >> just balls. >> you know it's impressive that you can just barely hold all the balls. >> how do you get them started? holding them like a pile of garbage and then they're in the air. >> watch his hands. you have to throw them at different heights. there's a lot more to this. >> i can't juggle three balls, much less ten. >> two balls my max. >> okay. i'm supposed to remind to you go to rightthisminute.com. so there. ♪ it's a combination of two pretty cool things. frisbee and pole vaulting. >> i've always thought those two things would make a great
