two stabbings that happened on spectator lane. it began as a fight inside of the house. two people were stabbed. one with life-threatening injuries, the other with injuries, both taken to local hospitals. we want to bring in the spokesperson for the baltimore county police. a confusing scene at this point. >> approximately 3:45 our officers and medics were dispatched. one victim had been transported to the hospital with a potentially life-threatening injury. he has since been transported to another hospital. our officers located another victim with a stab injury and he also has been transported to the hospital. a group of people arrived into a -- arrived in a vehicle and got into a fight. we don't know what the fight was about but the investigation is ongoing. >> reporter: will are two

scenes, one on spectator and one around the corner but police are not aware of anyone being hit by bullets or shots. >> correct. we have reports that a shot was fired. however, we do not aper to have anyone with a gunshot wound. >> reporter: anyone arrested at this point? who are you questioning. >> anyone who was in the home, anyone at the hospital connected to this as well as witnesses we can find. we do not have anyone in custody, however, we will be investigating. >> reporter: more interviews happening as they trito piece together what happened on spectator lane late this afternoon. live in garrison, joce sterman, abc2 news. >> thanks for that update. well, the city is looking at its history and wants to sell or lease some of it. more than a dozen historical properties could be sold to keep

up costs. >> reporter: others you may not have heard of like the upton mansion but the city wants to find someone else to take care of them. in its day the upton mansion had a look at what was the country side. off the past 172 years it has been a private home, radio station and now just this, a rotting house cared for by the city. the city would love to see someone or some group do something with this and 14 historic properties. some are abandon. others are a run well, a unique building lovingly overscene bit museum. >> carroll museum has always been a private group supporting

moments before a hot air balloon and the pilot were swallowed by the storm. the the pilot romained calm and able to get his passengers to safety. >> he was a veteran hot air balloon driver. the sky diver said the weather seemed fine but once they were up in the air they saw a storm rolling. he looked for a safe place to get the sky divers out and found an open field. they jumped and ended up safely onto the ground. >> he said it a couple of times. you guys are lucky you're getting out. we thought for sure he with land it down. >> he wasn't able it land. he tried to survive by flying above the storm but he got caught new an air draft soaring up about 18,000 feet until the balloon collapsed.

his body was fund about eight miles from where the sky divers landed. the sky divers said if he h. made tell jump when he did, they would have been sucked into the storm. people saw a tornado touch down. we'll take a look at the severe storm running threw south central texas and when they're expected to let up. you should never try to drive through high standing water. what happened when one oklahoma driver didn't heed those warnings. we want to protect the house. right. but... home security systems can be really expensive. so to save money, we actually just adopted a rescue panther.

we've had a mild season, but in south central texas, the sheriff's office said they got about 300 calls about a tornado touching down yesterday. no deaths were reported but some people ended up trapped inside their mobile homes. more rains and thunderstorms are expected over the next few days. now to tulsa, oklahoma, heavy rains caused a flash flood warning. a man got stuck. lucky for him, another driver came along and was able it help him out. the vehicle can be swept away by only two feet of rushing water according to the national weather service. an east baltimore community

this morning. this is turning out to be a nice spring day. temperature 70 degrees. the humidity sup at 71%. -- is up at 71. the end -- wind is five miles an hour. in towson we saw a chock full of clouds. we had the fog around. it was very slow to burn off. once it did, it opened up. we saw plenty of sunshine. we check out the fact that, well, we're looking at some showers in the forecast to come in a little bit later, but temperature wise, look at the big contrast here. in the middle of oakland, 66 degrees. we have 70s all the way back to ocean city. once again getting that easterly flow, making it a little bit chillier a little bit cooler this afternoon, but we look at the rain. this is what i want to talk about if we'll get showers,

maybe thunderstorms. the bulk of the action is back move into west virginia and in virginia. it's station fairy right now. i don't think this will work its way in, keeps the chance for a stray shower but the bulk of the activity off across the southern plains. this is started to push off to the east. with that they have flood warnings and watches in effect but that weather pattern brings that weather maker across the middle of the nation toward us as we go into the weekend. we have high pressure in control of our weather for the next several days and trying to figure out that easterly flow, if it will bump the temperatures up or keep us in the clouds. ed also the possibility of an isolated shower to pop up as we go into the afternoon hours. we look at the fact on thursday things will be like we saw today. you can sew that weather maker getting closer to us on thursday. by the overnight that temperature coming in at 56

headquarters. there's a lot of mitt romney to do well to help solidify his role. if you take a look at the latest pole -- pocialtion romney has a double digit lead. the former massachusetts governor has drop upwards of $3 million on the state. they're outspending santorum seven to one. yet, santorum is still appearing to be confident and issues this prediction. >> i predict if we're able to do what most people think are impossible, which is to carry the state of illinois they'll stop talking about delegates and start talking about how to stop rick santorum from being the nominee. >> reporter: let's talk about the delegate count. you have romney leading with 521

delegates. santorum 237. this isn't all about the math. when you talk about mitt romney there tends to be this enthusiasm gap. it could help us with the much needed momentum. >> so, we're not in the south anymore. seems like the topics have shifted. what can you tell us about that? >> reporter: it really has. depends on where the candidates are with the audience. that becomes their focus. if you think back it alabama, mississippi, there was a lot spent on social issues. now that it has moved to illinois, that's not the case. the economy is front and center. the unemployment rate is high are than the national average. santorum made the comment and mitt romney jumped all over it. >> i don't care what the unemployment rate is going to be. doesn't matter to me. my campaign doesn't hinge on unemployment rates and growth

rights if one partner dials. it's useful if a couple is buying a home or raising a family but isn't married. almost 40% of divorce attorneys are seeing a significant increase in cohabitation agreements. one big reason many states don't have cohabitation laws. so having a legal agreement protects couples if they break up and applies to those homosexual and same sex couples. many young people are opting not to get married. the pew research center find those tying the knot are at a record low handy voars rates are at -- and divorce rates are at a record high. the number of people taking the last has dropped.
