the case of 17-year-old trayvon martin continues to pick up more and more attention. students are protesting. rallies have been held, but still no arrest. t.j. winick has latest, including the president's reaction. >> reporter: president obama weighed in on the killing of unarmed florida teen trayvon martin and the controversy surrounding it. >> if i had a son, he'd look like trayvon. i think they're right to expect that all of us, as americans, are going to take this with the seriousness that it deserves. >> reporter: while the justice department and a special prosecutor are investigating. george zimmerman, who shot the teen, has yet to be charged. the city manager said the police department as nothing to hide -- has nothing to hide.

counts of premeditated murder for the shooting rampage in afghanistan nearly two weeks ago. a spokesperson said bales is also charged with six counts of attempted murder and is being held at fort leavenworth, kansas. divers off the coast of italy have recovered five bodies from the costa concordia. two people are still mission. the ship ran aground in january with about 4200 people onboard. a salvage company will be chosen to move the ship. the rutger's university student qected of a hate crime in the death of his roommate is talking for the first time. chris cuoma will have an interview. in his first interview,
