back in 1998 a psychologist told penn state police that jerry sandusky acted like a pet toe file. the university was warned about him, but did not stop the alleged abuse. sandusky is currently under house arrest as he waits for his trial. >> while friends were at church today, he made the decision to take him off life support ch the death toll in charlston, west virginia has risen to nine. it is the deadliest house fire in 60 years. >> no cause yet. big house fire today. three people were inside the home. one saw fire shooting through the sun room. they all got out in time. a 20 year veteran firefighter

got burned. a half million dollars damage and it looks like it was accidental. >> good evening. we have your up to the date forecast. right now temperatures lower 60s, 62. 61 washington. these temperatures finally got their act together and started popping up throughout the afternoon because we got a few peeks of sunshine to warm things up, but most the day under clouds. a little rain coming through slipping into virginia but as for us a clearing taking place through eastern pennsylvania. we'll start to see some clearing here in baltimore and surrounding areas as we go throughout the evening hours. one thing i have to mention throughout the evening hours, winds are going to pick up 10 to 20 miles per hour. air temperatures in the 50s for this evening, but they will drop on the seven-day. no more 80s and maybe a freeze watch for some areas.

like google wallet that only launched last september, is far off for a lot of consumers that won't cash in their real wallets just yet. well, we have those clouds sticking around the area today. in fact our high temperatures didn't hit the high until the afternoon. finally we got to 61 degrees here in baltimore. normal temperature is 57. no more mid-80s although we saw 80s across the board last week. doesn't look like we're going to see much this week. now temperatures, 57 an nap bliss. then you head to the west. temperatures a little cooler in the virginias. things are warming up nicely through the evening, but we'll drop as we head through the late evening hours and tonight. those clouds really trying to move out of here.

a little light rain. light rain showers moving through central maryland. that will dissipate in the next hour or so. the skies will clear. partly cloudy to mostly clear throughout the evening hours. then we'll have sunshine tomorrow. it was hard pressed to find sunshine especially at the inner harbor earlier today. then temperatures finally popped into the 60s but it took a little while to do that no winds reporting right now. a calm wind now in baltimore but as we head through the evening hours and through the day tomorrow and first part of the tuesday, winds are going to pick up. the reason why. area pressure that is causing showers anchored off the shores and clearing everything out. the area of low pressure going to move out as the area of high pressure moves in. then the winds will pick up. we're going to see a northwest wind so chilly temperatures monday and fuse for the start

of your workweek. we do have a freeze watch even for tomorrow night into tuesday morning. that is everybody shaded in blue, so everybody in that freeze watch. temperatures will drop down to 32 degrees or below. temperatures were in the 70s and '80s looses week and the week before that so if you're starting to plant vegitation outside, take a little newspaper and cover the flowers and that should protect them through tomorrow night. i'm not expecting temperatures to get back to the 30s for the rest of the week. future trend, those clouds will start to clear out again. maybe a few more showers, but that is about it for the next hour or so. those clouds clear tomorrow 8:00 a.m.. a little blustery through the day and very blustery and brisk through tomorrow night. it will go through tuesday and wednesday at 6:00 p.m. sunshine finally tuesday evening. the winds will die down and wednesday, more clouds and another chance of rain.
