speaking of the bw parkway southbound now, very slow making the drive through laurel as you head towards the capital beltway. want to show you what to expect if you go on the west side of 695. that is live look at liberty road. as being see the outer loop on the left side is where you will find the slowdowns. drive times is going to take you at least 11 minutes for those of you take the drive from 795 to i-70. still in great shape on the harrisburg expressway coming through timonium and on 95 it's about an 8-minute drive and the outer loop north side from bel air to providence will take you 9 minutes for the trip. back over to you. investigators trying to figure "ñthe what lead jet blue captain to act strangely. >> linda so is here with the scary incident. some of it caught on cell phones and can you imagine what passengers were thinking. >> reporter: yes. terrifying moments. they were caught on tape during what should have been a routine flight from new york to las

vegas. this video was shot by a passenger and shows several people rushing to subdue the flight captain. witnesses say he began acting eradically and yelling comments about the middle east and needing to get plane down. authorities say the captain got up to leave the cockpit during the flight and the copilot who was concerned about his behavior locked him out. that triggered the rants. other crew and passengers held the pilot down until the flight was diverted to texasch the captain was safely removed -- texas. the captain was removed and the flight continued. one passenger wants to thank the copilot. >> the copilot of the flight, he really i think is the hero because he had the sense to recognize that something was going wrong. >> reporter: some on the flight say they were traveling to a security conference and had law enforcement background which likely helped in that situation. linda so, abc2 news check out this video of an 80-year- old man saving his wife from a carjacker. it went down at a gas station

in lincoln park michigan. the couple was filling up at the station and the husband went in to pay and the would be carjacker jump into the driver's seat. the husband opened the car door and struggled with the suspectuntil the man ran off. a different rescue in atlanta. a man walking near a construction site stepped in the mud and it was slick and he started to sink. he was there for hours before rescuers were called. they moved the mud away from his face so cobreath and got him out. doctors say he is going to be fine. we can't tell you his standard size but he is at 7 foot 8 and he is the largest man on record in america. and he needs a pair of shoes. igor v is over 7 feet tall and is having a difficult time with shoes. last three years america's tallest man says finding a pair of shoes has been nearly impossible. the last pair was size 26. he was told by reebok of all

they were yesterday. you can see close to 50 degrees in northeast. stephenson 44 more in sykesville but we have the winds now sustained at about 5 to 10 miles an hour. they will be out of the southwest for today. and we will see gusts up to about 30 miles an hour. with that, we have a coastal flood advisory. wind and tides could bring flooding across the area that -- areas that we see shaded in the blue. satellite and radar as of now and we will see showers work their way in here courtesy of a cold front. that's going to slide across the area going later into the evening. some scattered showers maybe even a rumble of thunder. i will detail more of that coming up but let's check the traffic with and l.a. good morning. >> reporter: good morning to you. as you get ready to head out the door the good news is no incidents reported to tie up your drive this morning. so far we are looking pretty good as far as this goes. but we are seeing a lot of volume especially through the wood lawn region around the beltway. not too bad on this stretch of i-95. this is just north of the beltway. on the southwest side of course we are seeing more volume in

the southbound direction. you will need to alounge yourself a lot of ex-- allow yourself a lot of extra time continuing on southbound i-95 through columbia look live north of maryland 100 and north and southbound side creeping along. you may want to try u.s. 1 that will be a good option to avoid southbound delays on i-95. back over to you. police in baltimore county want you to be on the lookout for a man suspect of perry hall burglaries. >> linda so is here to tell us how he is getting into the homes and things he took from -- homes and the things he took from avictim. >> reporter: she says what he got away with can't get replaced. 8 is-year-old angela -- 81-year- old angela kuta lost two engagement rings one from her first husband to passed away. she wanted to pass it onto her son the second is from the current husband she had for 40 years. police say a burglar came into an unlocked window in the kitchen early friday morning while angela and her husband slept. he took the rings, 100 in cash
