4:32 pm
fox 29 philly. in it, you see a philadelphia police sergeant choking a customer. >> wow. >> but it just so happens, that customer is a 27-year-old corrections officer in philadelphia named joshua aroyo. joshua and his dad were out to dinner, his dad is also a former corrections officer. and apparently the police got a call that there was a man with a gun inside the restaurant. police come to the scene, they discover that that man with the gun is, in fact, joshua aroyo. joshua is confronted by the police, shows police his weapon, shows him his license to carry the weapon and shows the police his badge. at that point, the sergeant asks aroyo to come to the front of the store to continue the conversation. whenaroyo goes back to the booth with his dad, that's when the scuffle begins and you see the police sergeant choking aroyo. >> it's a strange story. because we can't hear the conversation, we don't know what kinds of words were exchanged

[ speaking in foreign language ] >>th grl is video start driving. >> they actually said in the video, in spanish, you know, it looks like the tornado already went past the road, so let's keep driving to see if we can just get away. [ speaking in spanish ]
4:35 pm
>> one vehicle did get tossed over, because of this tornado. there's a white semitractor-trailer in the median. >> this is terrifying. because tornadoes can change their path in an instant. i mean, this thing could come back towards them any second. >> one of the best tornado videos i've ever seen. and i guess what makes this one good, it doesn't appear that it landed in an area where there was a lot of homes or people living. hopefully it didn't do any serious damage. next up at number eight, more nature caught in action. but this time, it's a whole lot more fun. kind of an awesome nature video for you. >> look it! oh, wow. >> a guy named robert rutly shot this as he was on a ferry going from southern california to the channel islands national park, which is right off the coast of southern california. and these little guys, there's a little dolphin, just happen to start playing with the ferry and

a self-driving car. >> this is in morgan hill, california. and the man you see walking here is steve mayhan and he's about to get in the driver's side of this car. but he's not going to be doing the driving, because the car is going to drive itself. >> that's cool. >> look, ma, no hands. no hands anywhere. >> how does this work? >> this is a software technical contraption created by google. they announced it back in 2010. but this is the very first time a citizen takes it out for a test drive to celebrate the fact that google has already tested it for 200,000 miles. >> i love it. >> this is a huge milestone. >> we have seen cars that drive themselves in these big competitions and there are so many different contraptions all over the roof. this is a prius with what looks to be some sort of laser radar. >> yeah, it uses a combination of lasers and radars to feel out oncoming traffic, where it has
4:38 pm
to turn. >> this is some of the best driving i've ever done. >> but one thing you don't know is that steve is 95% blind. >> oh! >> and he's figuring out what it feels like now to be behind the wheel of a car. >> we're in this to change my life, give me the independence and the flexibility to go the places i most want to go and need to go. >> google is still developing this. they want to make sure that when they finally do get it out that it's perfect. ♪ one very gut-wrenching freeway moment. >> oh, my god. >> see what happens next on the countdown. and coming up on the countdown, this thing. >> it's actually a great idea, because you can like drink a ton of beers and also work off calories at the same time.

cool to do something like that in scottsdale. we ended up designing our own in tucson in our spare time. >> once you have made it past, i don't know, three or four bar stops, does the pedaling get slower? >> it starts out kind of slow if no one has had any drinks yet and you notice after your second bar or so, we seem to be flying down the street, because everyone is feeling good. we have made it to our top five, and atfive, time travel fraternity style. >> 11 years ago, tim of fhi cappa decided to put a message in a bottle before he covered up a hole. fast forward to february 2012, and the brothers found the bottle in the wall because they were patching the same hole. must be a spot where a lot of people get tackled. >> so what did the message say?
