five businesses in harford alone. jeff hager has more on the suspects and their scheme. >> reporter: caught on camera, a man dressed in black, cool, calm, collected and a counter fitter. he passed off a fake hundred dollars bill at the festival in bel air and a female accomplice returned twice only to be turned away. >> to do it a second time, that's what surprised everybody. one time, you expect it in retail. more than once, wow, she has guts to come in twice, two days later and not to change her appearance or anything. >> reporter: police believe there are three different women acting in cohertz with the man that struck several businesses, making off with more than $1500 in cash. at kitchen and company , the woman tried to buy a couple of cupcake tins for $3.16, with one of the fake c-notes. >> they would present $100

purchases, police say the same counter fitters bought large items in virginia and west virginia, only to return the merchandise at stores here in maryland. would you have ever thought of doing such a thing at age 9? listen to this. city police arrested a bunch of elementary school children that went on a violent spree of beating up other children. it happened where police say they had to go to the children's school and took them out in handcuffs. three of them, 9-year-old girls and an 8-year-old boy are charged with assault. christian schaffer is working on the story tonight and bring you more tonight on abc2 news at 11:00. developing tonight, baltimore police are asking for your help after one a woman was attacked in her own bed. the woman was sleeping in her home on frisbee in north baltimore and told police the man came in and attacked her. the man was wearing golf-type gloves and a homemade mask. anyone with information is asked to call city police.

down to glen burnie. police are looking for a man who rgt targeted a woman in a grocery store parking lot. she was walking to her car in the 7900 block of crane highway where the man attacked her and grabbed her purse. she was scraped up but didn't have to go to the hospital. investigators searched the area but didn't find the man. they are looking for him tonight. two children were among five people who suffered serious injuries after an sufficient crashed in to a dump truck. it was on liberty road. the suv rolled over once. all five of these injured were in the vehicle. a 3 yield and 18-month-old were among those injured. new developments on the recent ruling over the virginia tech massacre, a judge jove turned a finding from the department of education that the you've's response violated law. the school no longer has to pay $55,000, following the ruling

them, they are moving in some areas, but not too bad, they are coming out of the south and moving up towards the east. they will continue to do that and they will get breezy as we see the fronts move through the area. those fronts won't move through until type and tomorrow. here is a look at bel air, you can see those clouds holding on strong, maybe a little bit of a break. they got sunshine today. mostly those clouds are moving through and some places seeing a little bit of clearing taking place in some areas. mainly, we will see the clouds hanging with us as the next system moves through. this popped up quickly. see it in western maryland. it's packing a punch, heavy downpours, moderate rain, i don't think there is thuppedder or lightning, -- thunder or lightning, as it's moving towards us, it could get strength and isolated thunderstorm in the cell. locally heavy rains through with the cell moving on it's

way to the east. that's in the baltimore area, moving east at 50 miles an hour. it's flying across the state. right now, temperatures, 50 degrees at the inner harbor. 52 frederick. 51 hagerstown. 55 win chester. warmer temperatures to the south. it will be a little bit more breezy as we go through tomorrow night. systems clear the area and we start to see the backlash of those winds. satellite and radar, there are the clouds, see there, holding on. here is the system, popped up out of nowhere. that's where what the systems are going to do. what i'm concerned about is this rain here, that line of rainstorms is what we call training, it's getting bigger, it'ser growing as it moves across the mountains, it may lose the luster but regain strength on the other side of the mountains to the east side of the mountains and once it gets to baltimore during the hate evening overnight hours, we will see the rain from it. here is a closer look at the

weather pattern. see warm front down to the south. warmer temperatures south of that. that warm front is going to rise through the city, during the late evening overnight hours. increase chances for rain. we will warm up during the overnight hours and the cold front there l swing through during the they and knock temperatures down. temperatures will be back in to the 50s. we will top out the daytime high temperature, normally, 59. 58 for the daytime high. we will warm up during the overnight hours as the warm front lifts to the north and cold front comes through. don't get used to the warm overnight temperatures yet. future trends, see just about midnight is when we will see rain moving through the area, again, we will see some of that from the cell moving through the area, i would say in next hour or two. i looked up new data. we will see rain moving in here. at midnight, we will keep that chance of rain through saturday morning. the clouds hang with us through saturday even -- evening.
