crash. our top story, local activists will rally for trayvon martin, going to happen as the parents take their fight to washington dc. sherrie johnson is following the story and both events on is >> martin's parents will ask the u.s. justice department to review a prosecutor's interactions with police investigating the teenager's shooting death. church and community members protested sunday against the murder of the chicago youth and shooting death of martin. organizers are upset about the death of martin and too many teenagers are being killed in chicago. martin was shot in sanford, florida, by george zimmerman, the neighbor hoohood watch captain. no charges have been filed. they hit the streets saying racism and racial profiling

girl and brother were outside playing and the father was on the law mower. the fire department says the girl's foot was nearly severed. she was taken to johns hopkins in serious condition. a vigil will be held for a student killed in a hit and run. happened saturday on york road near washington avenue. ryan bailey had been studying accounting at towson university. baltimore city officers on paid leave after he shot and killed a suspect. officers had been there on a disturbance call. george wells ran but the officer caught him. the officer shot and killed the suspect. investigators say it was in self defense. new this morning, the washington post reports not a single shipment of shark fins moved through last year despite lawmaker's efforts to restrict the trade. spark fin trade is illegal in four states and prompted legislation to six others.
