i'm jeff hagueer. i'll have the details. newt gingrich makes another stop in maryland. someone has a big megamillions ticket in their pocket and it's not me. we want to start with the breaking news out of oakland, california. seven people are now dead and three others wounded in a shooting at a christian university. those wounded were being seen carried out on stretcher out of the building. the suspect was arrested in a neighboring city of alameda described as a heavyset korean man. he was a nursing student no longer enrolled in the school. we'll bring you more information if we get it in this newscast. world news will have more at 6:30. now to carroll county after a teenager is dead along poole

you'll find a list by the people living and driving in the area. we also have an interactive map to help you. all right. a pass due notice from your utility company is enough to scare you into action. that's what scammers are counting on. abc2 news joce sterman explains why. >> reporter: it's the price you pay for power, water or heat. you probably dread the utility bills but the statement some are getting are coming with more than a big balance. according to the internet crime complaint people are getting emails from a utility company claiming they have a new bill that's supposed to be paid. you're supposed to click on the attachment. you won't find the total. the attachment is a computer virus that could cause serious damage. many of the people hop sent the emails didn't use the utility company that sent them the bill.

ellicott city, blue skies. the trees are shaking in the wind. chesapeake beach. you can see the whitecaps for a good chunk of the afternoon. as the winds let up we lose the whitecapping effect but a blue sky type of day. maryland's most powerful radar scanning clear that should continue to be the case through perhaps wednesday morning when we could see a round of showers early wednesday and then things drying out again for the latter part of the week. frost and freeze concerns for the northern half of maryland. this is going to include kent and car row line county -- caroline county. all points north of baltimore and as you go further west, these bright shaded county, that's a deep freeze, meaning several hours below freezing. bring in the pets, plants and

north of baltimore. we're warm and mild and just a light northwesterly wind for the next few hours. we have a few gusts up to 18. winds have certainly let up. despite the fact we're mild now, under a clear sky with almost no humidity in the air and nothing to keep temperatures up. winds letting up. we'll see a big drop in temperatures overnight. that's why the frost concern. for a couple of hours early tomorrow morning. 2ham to 6:00, 7:00, 8:00, crystal clear across the mid-at antic re-- atlantic region. to our immediate west there's not much out there. generally clear weather. we've got mild air building in across the deep south. that will shift further north, so the very chilly, frosty scenario tonight gets replace bid warmer air late in the day tomorrow and more humid air.

the moisture levels are dry allowing things to cool off. once we get more humid conditions edging their way into maryland by late tomorrow that will prevent us from cooling off. so the frost concern is just tonight. that chance for rain is not there tomorrow. not tomorrow night. as we go into early wednesday, it's possible we could get a boundary that could spark a few showers and clear out rapidly wednesday. frost overnight into your election day morning, especially north of baltimore. 67 for a two-degree high. we'll recover quickly. no reason to not head out and vote. this is what i'm talk bsmght it's not going -- talking about. it's not going to be has cold. we're looking at opening day, low to mid-60s. go o's. >> it's almost a holiday in
