most of the folks who live onto road have been here since 30 years or more and when new people move in they are always noticed. everybody said what this jeffrey jenkins moved here he seemed like a nice guy. he kept up his yard and built a deck. then he disappeared. >> just disappeared. they haven't seen him. he was cutting his grass and then never saw him. >> reporter: the last anyone heard of him was on september 9th when he talked to his son. he was gone without a trace. county police who investigate the missing person case they started to look at this man and his girlfriend. >> wen 't haven't determined the nature of the relationship between them and we haven't determined a motive. >> reporter: they were arrested and charged with murder on april 3rd shortly after that

police say they were led to this wooded area where they found the body that late today was confirmed as jennings. folks don't know what to make. >> its been hard. you know it's -- comes around and i said -- if you heard anything and i know it's hard. >> reporter: the couple are being held without bond. police are trying to determine the motive in this case. abc 2news. >> also new, baltimore county police need your help trying to identity this man. he is wanted for multiple burglaries. the most recent happened in the 400 block of frederick road early tuesday. a man broke in to the front window of two businesses. he stole electronic equipment, money and stamps. he also stole money from the comfort care. there were a string of burglaries targeting office

buildings along york road. five buildings have been targeted since december. those cases are connected to four others and anyone with information is asked to call metro crime stoppers. a former ar track coach must now register as a sex offender. he entered an alford plea. it lets him maintain his innocence while admits prosecutors have enough evidence to convict. he coached a track team for two years. prosecutors say he and a 17- year-old exchanged nude cell phone photographs and videos. the relationship was found after the girl's father found them kissing outside a movie theater last summer. the judge in a child sex abuse case against jerry

sandusky said he will rule later on a number of issues raised today. during a 20 minute hearing they withdrew his attempt to stop prosecutors from using recorded conversations between him and two of the boys he is a accused of abusing. they also said others told him they would plead the 5th in called to testify. both are charged with perjury and failing to report the allegations. sandusky is a accused of abusing ten boys. the university of maryland college park is investigating vandalism and a noose found on campus. . the noose was found at a computer programming building that's under renovation. now the latest ton. it seems like every hour there

is a new rumor about the mega millions jackpot. now the commission is setting the record straight. >> reporter: forget what you read, heard or seen on facebook, that winning ticket is still out there. the director of the maryland lottery held a news conference to make it clear nobody has approached the lottery to say they have the winning ticket. not even a representative of someone claiming to have it. it's worth $158 million if you take the cash pay out. the lottery is in a holding pattern waiting fort winner to come forward. because of so many rumors they have doing damage control making suit real winner hasn't been scared in to thinking someone else already claimed it. >> it's important to us that in all of the information out there in the media that people not be mistaken and thinking that the ticket was claimed only to have the real ticket

is a well known issue, here the police get called out to complaints nearly 23,000 times a year. there are resources to prevent it and penalties for it but maryland doesn't have a criminal class specifically for it. that would be days changing, is there a bill in annapolis that has been passed by both the house and senate that would classify assault as domestic, currently an act is recorded as varying degrees of assault. the details of which would have to be dug up in an old police report are. what this bill does is spell out that the assault was committed as domestic violence so judges, police and others can plainly see it of the specific suspect. >> if they could see it in the rap sheet they would be able to make a decision that would be appropriate for someone who say repeat offender. >> this put itself right there in black and white.

. in tonight's health alert an apple a day keeps the doctor away may have more truth than first thought. a new study finds that eating certain fruits could help ward off parkinson's. harvard researchers saying eating berries, apples and drinking tea and red wine may protect you against the disease. that's because they are rich in flavanoids. people studied people for 20 years and 84parkinson's. eating berries more than five times a week had the strongest benefit for men, it's still not clear why they have no real impact for women. >> now it seems like people aren't going to the doctor as much as they used to and they are cutting back on
