today a judge will sentence a maryland man in connection with a plan to attack a armed forces recruiting station in kaytons catonsville. he will go before a judge. martinez pleaded guilty in january. he tried to detonate what he thought was a bomb inside a vehicle he parked in front of the recruiting center in december of 2010. safety is a concern this morning in baltimore city after a new plan aims to close 3 fire companies. the fire chief identified three companies that as of july 1st will be closed or disbanded for good. the stations will not close and ambulance units will be moved in. >> no fire stations are closing, no firefighters are being laid off. all we are doing is redeploy the people. >> the firefighters will be

moved to their stations, the fire chief says the three companies were chosen because the areas they cover now are most easily covered by nearby units. overnight we learned there is a push to get a grocery store in the rotunda in hamdon. the new one opened up on 41st street. a new grocer could land in the empty building by the summer. speculation is a trader joes or fresh market could move in. a health alert this morning, officials are warning against using an un approved medicine called back fall. a johns hopkins baby medical center heard from familys that were buying the medication for their children from convenient stores. there is an im port alert sold under the name. legislative session has four days left.
