hall to speak out about justice for trayvon martin. a florida grand jury will not hear the martin case. zimmerman launched a website to raise money for his defense and living expenses. we're hearing zimmerman's first public words since the shooting. he posted he's been forced to leigh his home, his school, his employer and his entire life. sources close to the investigation say charges could be filed against zimmerman within days. the unarmed florida teenager was shot and killed on february 26th by zimmerman who claimed self-defense using florida's controversial stand your ground law. >> and what that means is that the state must go forward and be able to prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt so that it makes the case in general, more difficult than a normal criminal case. >> now, in the meantime sanford is the city that's on edge. the city and surrounding countys are at a heightened state of alert. back to you. 5:32 and today in d.c. in

honor of martin representative on the commission of black men and woi ps will host a round table discussion called lessons in the life and death of trayvon martin. well, the two suspects in tulsa, oklahoma, those two that terrorized the black community have confessed to the crime. all of the victims were african american. one motive may have been that england was avenging his father, his death. he had been shot by a black . >> the evidence of the online stuff and some of the things that were said leads me to believe that that was totally a hate crime. >> it will be up to the district attorney to determine whether hate crime charges against the two will be filed. a little closer to home the 6-year-old from prince george's county is dead. he accidentally shot himself

with a gun. he found the weapon in a backpack at his grandmother's house. >> i just heard her screaming. a couple of ambulances came. i never seen so many police cars in all my life. >> it's sad for anybody, but a 6-year-old, his life just begun for him. >> well, the backpack police say belongs to a 20-year-old. that man who lived in the home is not related to family. he wasn't home when the boy shot himself and he was taken into custody last night. still trying to get new details following a deadly accident in anne arundel county. two pim died while police say it was only one. it happened just before 6:00 monday on route 424 in davidsonville. a gold cadillac and a silver accord were both involved. police in indiana say that there is a man who is accused of coercing teen boys into sending him sexual videos online and now we know some of those kids are from maryland. they were the target of these attacks. the fbi says investigators found

welcome back. severe weather pounding parts of oklahoma. two confirmed tornados so far. the damage is bad and people have been hurt. we're tracking the latest for you this morning. >> we've learned at least two people were hurt when these tornados hit. one was cut by glass when hail knocked out windows in her parents' car. the other was an inmate caught

on the back by a hailstone. you can see the huge dark clouds. the national weather service is reporting at least two tornados touched down in north western oklahoma yesterday evening at around 5:30. hail the size of softballs damaged a county jail and a number of vehicles. the county sheriff says hail broke every skylight in that jail and caused the roof to leak. you can track the latest on severe weather on our website. if you go to our main page here and look under the weather tab you'll see something that says tornado alley. if you click on that it will bring you to this page. you can follow everything up to the minute that's going on when it comes to tornados. we have tornado storm chausers out in the midwest and they post -- they're constantly posting updates. if you scroll down here we have a running feed of what they catch, all the video and pictures that they shoot during severe weather that hits. again, you can find that under tornado alley on our website at abc 2 new.

meanwhile close to home this morning dry conditions have made brush fires a continued problem across the state of maryland. homeowners in anne arundel county were sweating it out yesterday. the fire came within 40 feet off of homes in echo drive. the firefighters had to work around stony creek. stay tuned for good morning maryland 6:00. we'll have the latest on these conditions. fire officials say a vacant northeast philly warehouse has been cited several times for fire code violations and court action was underway when that caught on fire yesterday. that led to the death of two firefighters making sure that the flames were out when the building collapsed. now firefighters are looking into whether criminal negligence in that case is warranted. 12 jurors and six alternates have been seated for the trial of a man accused of killing jennifer hudson's family.
