from the day a navy jet crashed into an apartment complex. listen to the way a caller described one of the pilots after the accident. >> is the pilot conscience? >> what? >> is he conscience? >> yes, he is. last time i saw him he was. >> so he's no longer on your patio right now? >> he's still on my patio but they told me to evacuate and there are other guys helping him. my neighbors are helping him. the navy said the jet malfunctioned. 7 people including two pilots were hurt when that plane crashed and burst into flames setting buildings on fire. they're reviewing the flight recorder from the jet. a scary ride to tell you about for school kids in washington. their bus driver passed out behind the wheel and the kids sprang into action. one of them leaped for the steering wheel, managed to get the keys out of the ignition and stop that bus.

let's head right over to check today's forecast. good morning, everyone. yes, once again we'll be dealing with a red flag warning. that goes in effect at lunchtime today until 8:00 p.m. it's for all the areas here shaded in the red color. so what we have is dry air in place once again and we're also dealing with windy conditions as we go into the afternoon.

yesterday. now we move on to the dry air, the relative humidity. right now this air is not dry, but we will have a northwesterly component and with that, that's really going to bring that air on the dry side once again. so this relative humidity will be close to 30% and the masses we're talking about some dry air and that's a why we'll have red flag warnings in effect at lunch time today. this is for all the areas here, shades in the reddish color and also some very cold air moving into the forecast as well. you can see some of those blues0
