roads, we are dealing with one incident for those of you traveling in anne arundel county through severn. police say mostly onlooker delays and waiting for the tow truck the crash at 175 and odenton road. we are seeing building involve heading -- volume heading for the tunnels. no reported troubles around 695 and we spoke with mark jones of the m-ta and buses and rails are on time this morning. now let's go back over to charley and megan. developing news. we great this to you as blakeing -- breaks news after a fire broke -- breaking news last night after a fire broke out. >> sherrie johnson is here with the latest. >> reporter: this had morning, firefighters are trying to figure out what caused the fire at a church in dundalk. emergency crews were called to the scene around 8:30 last night and investigators are looking at the possibility that the fire could have have started in a shed -- could have started in a shed and dry conditions may have played a

role. more than 300 members at pleasant zion baptist church are grateful. the quick thinking saved the altar and other sacrate parts. the church has been in dundalk since 1889. >> i know -- it's not really heart breaking because this is life. and in this life, anything can happen. >> reporter: the church members say they have seen vandalism to the building and fire investigators say they will look at all possible causes. in the meantime, the pastor is determined to have service iss on sunday even if it's in another building. now back to you. the red flag warnings that were lifted but the american red cross still want people to be aware of the fire conditions that remain on the dry windy days. so they are offering tips. we want to pass them along. make sure you have these things available should your home be in a situation where it's threatened. water, they say one gallon per person and nonperishable food at least a three-day supply for

now eye good morning maryland "-- now "good morning maryland ." the republican presidential field is smaller. >> rick san tore many announced he is -- santorum announced he is dropping out of the race and giving mitt romney his support. linda so has the latest. >> reporter: this clears the way for mitt romney to get a clear shot at president obama. he is presupped nominee for the repub -- presumed nominee for the republican party. rick santorum says the decision watt not solely based on the -- was not solely based on the delegate count. his daughter has been hospitalized since santorum launched his campaign. he says this past weekend was time of prayer and thought as the family cared for bella in the hospital. he announced tuesday he is suspending his campaign and called romney to offer his help. recent polls show santorum was slipping in the numbers no longer added up in his favor. he was falling behind in the

if convicted, he face as maximum 30 years in prison. opening statements are scheduled for april 23rd. closer to home, maryland comptroller is speaking out about the doomsday budget and criticizing the governor and lawmakers for not getting it done. on monday, lawmakers passed a budget but failed to pass a tax package that would pay for it. so he says the senate president mike miller held things up because he was not going to get an expansion of gambling in the state. he also says governor's milliony's proposed tax increases are the wrong thing to do right now. he spoke on a radio station in washington on tuesday. >> take the budget, roll up your sleeves and work professionally and thoughtfully. produce a budget that does not have doomsday cuts or cuts in education and other services. but this. that does not have tax increase and present it for approval. >> if the governor doesn't call a special session, the doomsday
