we can say that. these are quick movers. there has been a little more activity west of the immediate baltimore area and certainly out in the mountains they have had snow showers. here's the deal, big disturbance pinwheeling spinning off the new england coast sending in the clouds and the gusty northwesterly winds. down through the 40s we'll g we'll talk about "hawaii five-0" temperatures will change and much more. it's all coming up. let's go to breaking news right out of florida. a special prosecutor says the state has charged the man accused of shooting an unarmed teen. let's take you live to the scene. it will be a live picture of the press conference taking place in jacksonville, florida. that is state attorney angela corey of that area. reportedly what we have heard is he has charged george zimmerman,

the captain of the community watch group with second-degree-murder back in february. zimmerman is in custody. zimmerman admitted to the shooting but said it was in self-defense. it is part of the stand your ground giving people wide at-- at tad -- latitude. coming up at 6:30 we'll have complete coverage with diane sawyer. we'll bring more as this newscast continues. now to a breaking news update. a four alarm fire at a dundalk church has been ruled an are a son. the fire was set outside the building near two sheds in the back. the fire quickly spread into the church because of high winds heavily damaging the building.

they say he impersonated a police officer and raped a woman. he flagged down a woman and told her he was an office are and searched her. police say he drove to the wooded hear near leakin park where he raped her. he face several charges including kidnapping and impersonating a police officer. a harford county woman is behind bars tonight facing extradition after allegedly having sex with a 16-year-old boy. they arrested 39-year-old lisa car rom and she will face nine sex charges in florida. her husband had no idea she was having an affair with a teen who lived 800 miles away. >> the two met online playing video games. that relation progressed to communication via skype and then ultimately the investigation indicates that this 39-year-old woman traveled to florida on two

occasions, stayed in a hotel there and was meeting with the 16-year-old in florida. >> carroll and the teen told investigators they were engaged to be married prior to the sexual encounter. in maryland the legal age is 16 but in florida it's illegal to have a relationship with someone seven years your senior. police say this man, david grayson french, jr. was behind the wheel of a collar that hit beverly moore as she tried to cross the street in perry hall. he is being held on $500,000 bond. harford police are trying to find this man. they say he robbed the cecil bank on pulaski highway and havre de grace yesterday. the sucht is in his mid-40s, walk into the bank and demanded money from the teller.

the-year-old suspensions of two high school la crosse players have been overturned by the state board of education. the two teens were suspend after a utility tool and a lighter were found with their la crosse equipment. >> reporter: nearly a year after being pulled off a school bus having his la crosse bag searched and handcuffs placed on his list, memories are fresh in his mind. >> it was shocking, embarrassing. it felt weird. it felt like i was tossed under the rug. felt like i was being bullied. >> reporter: an anonymous search pled to the search of list bag and his teammates. it turned up a utility tool and lighter, items they use to work on their la crosse sticks. both boys were taken off the bus and graham was arrested.

update from florida. george zimmerman, the neighborhood watch volunteer who killed trayvon martin in february has been charged with second-degree-murder. zimmerman has admitted to shooting unarmed martin but as self-defense as part of florida's stand your ground. world news with diane sawyer will have more on the case in about 15 minutes or so. the fifth annual brick challenge is in place. many are trying to take home the $10,000 prize. one team has turned the competition into a family affair. >> reporter: it's tuesday morning and brothers joe and jerry winn are hard at work, pumping iron and it's a tough job but these two are no

patch of thunder show toward somerset, pennsylvania. quite a change. sticialtion the chance for a few showers around central maryland, then getting colder and drier overnight. freeze warnings up for washington county west and central northern pennsylvania through harrisburg a froze watch. so protect those plants overnight. 32. we're at the freezing mark. most of the stating in the 40s and 50s. winds steady from the west will continue to bring in that chilly air. gusts will be up around 20 for the next couple of hours. the setup is basically one where we'll see a little more humid conditions, a hit or miss shower, so not quite the red flag conditions. the bad side is this, if you need the rain and want the rain this will be very minimal. we'll go back into a dry pattern

until sunday afternoon. high pressure coming in will bring in the sunshine big time starting late in the delay tomorrow and friday. in the meantime cloudy with a hit or miss shower. i want to show you basically across the mid-at antic we'll see the clouds let up. tomorrow clouds will come back somewhat. seems like very slim chances tomorrow and then friday look crystal clear and dry as temperatures begin to warm up tomorrow in the 50s but starting friday we're back in the 60s, 70s and 80s for the weekend. overnight 35 as we get colder with clearing tomorrow mostly sunny skies but maybe increased clouds. tomorrow night down to 38, mostly clear, not as chilly. here is your seven-day forecast. quite a change here. you feel how much cooler this is today. yet, by saturday you'll be feeling how much warmer it is. then we've got a good chance to

get to 80. in terms of the rain maybe a shower. the best chance looks like the middle of next week so we hope this gets that. >> as soon as we get warm we get rain. >> and bring in the chance for thundershowers. sure, why not. well, the weather was rather tame today but we all know this can change at a moment's notice. tornadoes like these are not usually scene in -- seen in maryland. today the emergency management agency along with the national weather service and local schools helped schools practice what they would do if a tornado came their way. this was all part of severe weather week in the state. officials hope it will drive home that even a simple storm can change quickly. a thunderstorm can spawn off any types of storms including heavy rains which could lead to

heavy flooding, tornadoes, hail and then toward lightning strikes and lightning strikes can strike people. we use this week as a number of events where we have a significant amount of community outreach to make people aware not to take these storms for granted. last year there was a record 27 tornadoes in maryland. you're looking at a beautiful picture. very, very nice picture. a lot of folks out there, a couple dogs enjoying this bricks weather. wyatt will have another look at the forecast coming up.
