on the night of june 13th. police say 29-year-old rubin dunn had been driving the car ha hit the girls but switched places with his girlfriend, who was in the passenger seat. miles was driving when police stopped the car after the crash and she pleaded guilty to being accessory after the fact, she received a five wreer suspended sentence and probation and testified against rubin dunn in court this week. the jury determined there was reasonable doubt that dunn was driving the car, they acquitted him today. we spoke with the mother of courtney, a short time ago about the moment she heard that not guilty verdict. >> i got one happened up in the ir a, i'm -- hand up in the air, i'm thinking i want to say yes, thank jesus, this is finally over, this is all i wanted to say. instead of, that i put my hand down and my head down and cried. you got to breathe deep and ask why, why did this happen?

supercells on the map. we will track that through the evening, seeing what happens there in the southern plains, quiet in the mid atlantic and warmer tomorrow, warmer for sundays, we talk about that in just a few minutes. it is a storm many marylanders won't forget. plenty of damage, thousands without power and heavy damage to ocean city. hurricane irene will go in to history books. eye ren retired from the storm names for the basin, she caused destruction from the dominican republican, through haiti, up and down the sea board, killing 49 people and causing $15 billion in damage. irene is the 76th name storm to be retired and joins other maryland storms like isabelle, ivan, floyd and fran. forecasters say a dangerous tornado outbreak is likely tomorrow, in parts of kansas, oklahoma and nebraska. the storm prediction center says baseball sized hail and
