another great day today. in case you were walking around in your heels or flat shoes. it felt like a taste of summer out there. if you were down in annapolis down around the area in the inner harbor you can see it was absolutely gorgeous. it reminds me of summer already with the boats. hopefully everybody got out this weekend. it was a little cloudy on saturday. now we are into a taste of summer. today temperatures got up into the mid 80s. 85 degrees was our daytime high. normally we should be in the mid 60s. lower 60s to the west. we are warm today. highs today 81 frederick. 79 hagers town. 80 washington, d.c. temperature not too far from our daytime highs. we are in the 80s.

in the city 76 up north to york, pennsylvania. 81 frederick. great evening out there. not a cloud in the sky. i'll show you the radar. a few clouds in and out. other than that we are seeing clear skies. we are seeing no rain on maryland's radar. winds breezy out there today. if you are deciding to grill out you might want to put plates down. they'll blow away with winds out of the south 9 miles per hour in our nation's capitol. we are getting a southerly wind. see the wind direction. that's why we were warm. we are getting a southerly wind. we are pulling moisture from the south into the baltimore area. enjoy it. we'll stick around in the 70s. drop a few more degrees from 82. great evening out there. it will be breezy. it looks like we'll stick with the wind through tomorrow and half of the day through

tuesday. satellite and radar showing nothing on the radar. we are seeing a few high clouds. those are common with the high pressure that we are seeing. this is high, thin wispy clouds. a few clouds moved into west virginia. this is a frontal system we are watching in the midwest through missouri. that will continue to move into our area. we could see a few sprinkles west later on tomorrow night. not in our area. that frontal system will break down. that will be our culprit for our next winds coming through tomorrow and tuesday. 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning plenty of sunshine. there is that frontal system moving through. watch how it breaks up. maybe a few sprinkle west of baltimore. it is going to be a great day tomorrow. 62 overnight tonight. few clouds. mild. monday we are looking at 85

within a thousand miles away in the exact spot where the titanic sank marks the moment the boat went down with 1512 people. nick lost a relative. daniel was coming back from his honeymoon with his wife mary when the ship sank in the frigid north atlantic. >> we were watching what was going on at the same moment. for the people out there it had to be a horrific time. >> reporter: titanic was a story of legend, sacrifice, heroism and pride. titanic exhibitions are everywhere. we found artifacts on display as far as branson, missouri. mostly today was about memorial. perhaps the most famous titanic. the band was said to go down with the ship playing the hymn

welcome to maryland spotlight. real estate is really hot right now. what i have done is invited some investors, real estate and retirement investors to join me to talk about investing in real estate. chuck and scott mcdonald cofounders of keys to retirement. welcome. >> thank you.

>> tell me about your business. >> we have two phases for our business. one is we work with investors to teach basic fundamentals on how to find a sound, safe, controllable and predictable investment. last thing anybody wants is to lose money. our goal is to teach them to find a predictable and controllable way of getting init to. once we learn the fundamentals we work with the investors. we do real estate together and larger projects. we could do blocks of propertys. we could do areas of properties where we are focusing on investing real estate. it is a cooperative effort than somebody to do it than send them out on their own. the program was to teach them and give them empowerment to do it. >> you still have the support. >> even more support now. what we have done is done it in a group effort where you'll go out and get trained. then you'll know where to buy and how to buy it and what the

values are and why we are in the area. then come up with a strategy on the whole scientific way we go about doing it. >> is this a good time to invest in real estate? is that a loaded question? >> that's why you need to come here. there is not really ever a bad time as long as you have an exit strategy. we don't dictate what the market tells us. we have different exit strategies for different situation. there has never been a better time. 70 year low in property values. interest rates at 40-year lows. you can not get money cheaper to buy properties. you can not assets cheaper than they have been. >> we have been through the cycle of the downtime when you heard of foreclosures and short sale. now you are seeing now is the time to buy to get rentals. everybody is saying it is a profit. 3% interest rates. why not do that?

now we are seeing they are still buying properties. we were profitable then. we were profitable now. we'll be way profitable in the future. >> who needs to invest? >> great thing about real estate is it doesn't discriminate. it doesn't matter race or sex. what it comes down to is understanding the principle and how into vest. if you have cash there are certain things you can do. if you don't have cash there are certain things do to get leverage. we call it the great equalizer. everybody everybody's about investing in the stock market. it takes money to invest in the stock market. where in real estate you don't have to have a lot of money. there are opportunities to get started with or without cash to get going. >> it is anybody. it could be you. we have firemen, policeman. when they have pension issues they'll continue to build

towards retirement. we have 22 year olds coming out of college. >> this is a good way to do it. how quickly can you make money? >> the way we set it up is there is training involved. we want you to know what you are doing and now how to do it. as quickly as two weeks into our program you are out investing in properties. there is no reason for delays. we don't overanalyze the situation. it is hands-on. let's get in and get out and make money. >> that's good. i'm sure the earlier you start the better. >> everybody takes their own pace. senior citizens get in this as well. >> an 81-year-old gentlemen who is very successful. he did it as a hobby to build a legacy for his grand kids. >> that's what you have to do. you have to build the wealth to pass on. >> absolutely. if you to our website k 2r
