who was driving a car that rear ended another vehicle that then hit a police officer sunday night in annapolis. police say it was this man leo lamont carroll who left the scene but was found and arrested. he has posted bail. corporate kevin mott underwent surgery yesterday at shock trauma. he's in serious but stable condition. he was let after asking the driver he pulled over to move over to a safer location. three men have been arrested in the murder of 12-year-old sean johnson who was shot a year ago sitting on his front porch. 18-year-old derrick brown, 29-year-old danyae robinson and 21-year-old antwan mosley have all been charged with first-degree murder for the shooting that left johnson dead and three others wounded. johnson and the others were

watching the nba playoff game on the front porch when he was shot. johnson's aunt said he was a standout in school. two men were killed during separate shootings in baltimore less than an hour apart. police say the officers found the man who had been shot at the corner of east preston and ash cliff and taken to the hospital where he died. officers from baltimore county spotted a man who had been shot multiple times at liberty heights and wood bine. he was taken to sinai where he also died. baltimore police are investigating both shootings, so anyone with information is asked to call 410-396-2100. a woman is dead and her infant is injured after a crash last note at 11:30. police say a car sped right past them and refused to pull over.

officers lost sight of the vehicle. the suspect driving the vehicle tried to take off, was caught and arrested. they are pursuing charges for drugs. >> we're going to interview him and find out why he was interviewing the vehicle. officers tried to stop him and he proceeded to escalate and collide with another car, very, very sad situation. >> less are currently reviewing cameras in the area and the radio call will be performed in the accident reconstruction trying to figure out exactly what happened last night. crews are wrapping up the scene of a three alarm town home fire that started in glen burnie. investigators say they zoo know what caused the fire but believe it started on the deck and spread to two other homes. the red cross has been called in to help others. we had an early morning fire

in an apartment building in glen burnie. the fire started just before 3:30 at the villages of marley station at fairwood avenue. although it took 40 minutes to put it under control, they stayed at the building for more than two and a half hours. 11 people were forced out of their appointments -- apartments. >> i got my walker and walked straight through the flames. it got hot. >> louis was told he would be moved to a different end unit. firefighters are trying to determine what started the three alarmer. no matter how hard you may try to con vns your mom and dad, a d plus is not good news. that latest grade came for the chess sha peek -- chesapeake bay. experts believe they can still turn the bay's condition around.

us we could do our own part, reduce runoff, rain barrels and get involved in drone spaces and reduce pollution by using public or alternative transportation. let's go to annapolis. the caucus gathered to observe tax day but they also want to talk about the so-called dooms day budget. this was passed in the final hours of the legislative session in place of a balanced budget but there's still a possibility that the governor could call for a special session to deal with it although house republicans say they don't want to see a that happen. if no special session is called, the dooms day budget would go into effect july 1st. it includes deep cuts to education and cuts to state services. so it is tax day. so naturally, we are looking at our comptroller peter franchot who is holding court at the main post office on fayette. he also took the opportunity to address the state's dooms day

budget. comptroller franchot is clear on what he would like to see happen. >> we have to fix this. there's a broken window right now. i'm urging the cover to have a special session just on the budget. get gambling off the table, tax increases off the table, anything that's shiny and disstrablght -- distracts people. >> if he doesn't call for a special session 500 state jobs would be eliminated. if you didn't run into the comptroller at the post office, don't panic. the main post office on east fayette will be open until 9:00 but you can drop your return off by mid-nate but you have to have postage already on the envelope. doug gains learn and others

80 an hour ago. around a 20-degree stretch. temperatures mid-70s east in dover and baltimore. the temperature pattern will be cooling off. over the next several days we expect temperatures to really cool off. i think the numbers could be in the mid to upper 70s over the next few days. we'll keep an eye on that. again, subtract several degrees of temperature and you and up with what, mid-60s tomorrow. that will probably be about it. here we g the clicker -- go. the clicker was not working. looks like we'll be stuck going to a different clicker here. here are the temperatures up around 80 for highs, optimistic that perhaps we'll see temperatures back in the mid-60s tomorrow. but it may take awhile to see that happen. humidity levels around 20% so that's dry.
