and north avenue. a 22-year-old died in the crash. rollin's mother and caught were in the car. they survived. now the officers say they saw a car driving eratically and tried to make a traffic stop. they say the car sped away and caused the crash. police say it was not a chase and the victim's family said the suspect would not have been speeding through a busy section unless a car was behind him. >> it would not have happened if they were not chasing them. >> it's not a chase t happened quickly. you can hear the officer indicate that he was pulling over the car and seconds later he is asking for a medic ambulance unit because the car collides. >> after the crash the driver of the car tried to run. police officers caught him and found drugs on him. they're working with the state's attorney to figure out what he will be charged with. a student who posted he
