a break before we start to get more rain in here for the weekend and that's good news. i will detail that coming up but right now a check of the traffic with angela. good morning lynette. it is very busy out there. with that patchy fog we're seeing a lot of activity, the accident in edge water, police say we have a lot of delays on maryland 2 behind the accident at may yes road. we're still blocking a lane southbound. so expect delays in that area. and as we mentioned fog in this area, here's a live look at 895 where wore not looking too bad for the morning drive. heading down to the tunnels you should be in pretty good shape of course tapping the brakes approaching the toll plaza. for i-95 no surprises in? terms of volume. look at the thick fog you will encounter, this is through elk ridge north of maryland 100. jam-packed past maryland 32. charlie? >> you love your dogs as pets but some see them though as prize fighters. >> this morning city police are investigating a case of animal

cruelty and sherrie johnson is here with more. >> reporter: that's right. they're still trying to figure out exactly what's going on here. officers removed eight dogs from a northwest baltimore home now police are investigating this as an animal cruelty case. two of the dogs had facial scarring in general but their body conditions was pretty good. neighbors say they don't believe anything illegal was going on inside that home. police got a tip about drug activity in the home in the 2900 block of silver hill after. when officers arrived to serve a search warrant, police found drugs in the home and a dog fighting ring. the owner of dogs, johnny taylor was taken into custody. investigators say they found enough evidence to charge him. >> there was medications therement there were a bunch of dogs there and there were dog fighting manuals there. that shows there may be some kind of indication there's dog fighting there. >> he was nice. he actually looked out for the kids. i've never seen any dog

fighting or anything like that. >> reporter: now police did not say if they believe dog fights happens at that home in northwest baltimore or if the dogs may have been used in fights other locations. johnny taylor faces eight counts of animal cruelty along with a drug possession charge. father in illinois is now catching some heat for the way he's punished his daughter. take a look had the this. montreal white showed the sign that she ordered his -- he ordered his daughter to wear and it reads quote -- end quote. he says his 8-year-old daughter has taken things from a teacher and also from their home. >> we tried different ways to discipline. we taken away tv. you know, all different type of things. you know this is kind of like the final straw. >> now the superintendent's not questioning white's right to discipline his daughter but says it's caused too much of a scene in busy school parking lot. he called police. all right, in this next story it's a person what they weren't wearing why the guy is

more sunshine to come this afternoon. so we're getting a little bit of everything today. but let's start with this morning where we have the reduced visibility. two miles in baltimore. three in dover. four in easton. dc six and frederick three mile visibility right now. so again as you step out and about make sure you put a lot of distance between you and the vehicle front of you. take it easy out there. temperatures right now coming in at 49 degrees from perry hall to frederick. 48 in joppa. but you can see the humidity levels 100%. the air is saturated. let's head over to angela foster, she has a check of the forecast and i know the patchy fog has been difficult for you this morning. it has been lynette. we've been busy all morning and just got another accident reported on 695 on the south side outer loop at the bw parkway. our camera shot not even showing the accident where we're blocking a right lane. again that's 695 outer loop approaching the bw parkway with the right lane blocked.

in the meantime the bigger story is the foggy conditions out there. delays on the harrisburg expressway. there is a live look at maryland 45. southbound of course on the left side of the screen and of course the delays continue into parkton passing belfast and middle town roads. back to you. right now we have new information this morning in the secret service prostitution scandal. >> yeah, three secret service members have been removed from the agency but officials say this is just the first step in a prostitution scandal. >> sherrie johnson has the latest. >> reporter: all new information this morning. a colombian woman who claims she was the escort who partied with the americans is speaking out. and three secret service fills are out of a job as new details emerge in this investigation. the colombia woman says she argued with the secret service agent over the bill for her services. after a night at a local hotel in colombia. prostitution is legal in colombia. the woman says the night started at a strip club where she agreed to go back to the hotel with an american man nor

$800. but the next morning she says he would only pay $30. after a loud argument, police were called in to resolve it and the man agreed to pay $200. now the secret service has not confirmed this account. one secret service officials has resigned. another supervisory employee was allowed to retire and the agency dis missed another supervisory employee because of the scandal. >> as far as the culture, you got to change that culture. heads don't roll under these circumstances, no behavior changes. >> nothing thus far that's been revealed. the investigation will take place and there will be able to know. but nothing so far. >> reporter: now the scandal may go beyond the secret service, as many as ten people from all branches of the u.s. armed forces are being questioned about potential misconduct. this includes five members of the elite army special forces. the implicated military personnel were sent to colombia to support the secret service. news time right now 6:47

and new this morning, a dc area woman is looking for answers after she says she was told that her 3-year-old son may have have been sexually abused by an employee at a day care center. the woman told our sister station wjla the day care coordinator called her to tell about the alleged abuse. police documents slow the coordinator didn't call the police until days after the alleged incident happened. >> me and my children's father come and pick the children up and to know she had a secret and didn't say anything to either one of us is very painful. i don't understand. i felt like they were trying to cover it up. >> dc police say now investigating the claims the day care has now been closed. you know you may have seen this or heard about them on the air or online. a driver accidentally hitting the gas pedal instead of the brakes and the result is an accident. just this week video emerges of a car smashing through the
