permission to search the property. that led them to an old shed in the backyard. >> there was nothing obvious but they went inside the shed, pulled up floor boards and moved some debris and that's when they saw a concrete slab and there was information there that they were able to obtain that made them believe she may be there and that was correct. >> reporter: the 57-year-old robert jarret faces first and second degree murder charges he is being held without bail. christine's parents both died without know what happened but police called her adult sons this morning. >> we are getting new clues in the search for a new york boy who disappeared 30 years ago. agents searched the basement of a building in new york today for remains. the 6-year-old disappeared in 1979 while walking to a school bus stop. a judge declared him dead back in 2001.

it's believed that he was the first missing child ever feature on the side of a milk carton. the prime suspect was never charged in the case. he is in jail on unrelated child molestation charges. back here, baltimore county police are trying to find who men who robbed a family at gun point. as the family is getting in to a van to leave the house the two men hiding in the garage jumped out and ordered the family back inside the house. they say the suspects forced the father and the two girls in to a closet, tied them up. the men then stole a safe and the family van. now around the same time another neighbor called police after seeing two men taking something out of the van and loading it into a gold sedan, possibly a toyota camry. tonight's consumer alert an important recall. 49,000 concept compact traveler charges are being recalled.

no rain, you know conditions really not a bad day. most spot was a quarter inch much of rain. some spots less. we could use rain over here. beautiful shot over the bay bridge marina and at the high school you can see at times the fair weather clouds popping up. then the skies clearing off late in the day. we will get set for a sunny finish to this thursday afternoon. maryland's most powerful radar is clear. off shore, off of ocean city still a few showers, nothing overland though. temperature wise now, 70, the warm spot in baltimore. but on the eastern shore 68 easton, 65 dover and hagerstown at 68. what little wind we have from the south-southeast could cool it off along the water. not a big factor for news humidity. just moderate really comfortable stuff. the pattern is this. last of that disturbance that brought us showers off shore.

we are left with the clear sky overnight. clear sky and extra soil moisture means the potential for fog overnight and into daybreak. back to that if you are early morning driver. active weather over the great lakes, some over the coastal carolina's, high pressure over the midatlantic to keep us high and dry. as we go into the later part of the day saturday and into sunday a new weather maker will push in. warm to the south and east. this will arrive in maryland through the day tomorrow. up in to the 70's. more rain, it's not there tomorrow. scattered showers, a developing frontal boundary to the west that. will start to make its way in on saturday during the day. even down into morning we could get coastal showers and into the afternoon there is the boundary, hopefully sparking showers and thunderstorms, saturday night. optimistic we will continue to see the waves of precipitation

your social networking profiles when considering you for a job. patricia with question dales. . >> reporter: there is a lot of talk about hiring managers looking at the networking sites of people applying but now numbers show just how often they do it. a new survey finds that 37% screen job candidates using the internet. just three years ago that number was closer to 50%. there are a few factor that could have caused the dropoff. one issue is that some companies prohibit hiring managers look online to screen candidate was most following a ban on all social networking at work. employers may be deterred as many keep personal information private having a less detailed profile. you may be okay with everybody seeing your linked in profile but keep facebook available

health. today the wounded warrior project tried to repay a small part of that sacrifice. don harrison took a ride with them. >> reporter: its nothing to see people riding bikes in town on a nice day like this. this was something special. the wounded warriors project held a soldier ride in annapolis today. they hold them for soldier who have given up a huge sacrifice, part of their body. this ride gives them a chance to build confidence and a chance for others to say thank you for your sacrifice. >> the sacrifices they have made for our country is amazing and the fact that there is a project like this that can bring them together and give them the friendship and support them, is great and amazing. >> reporter: michael ow en is a marine. he served two tours in iraq. michael enjoys the rides. >> it's flat out
