information from overnight. >> reporter: firefighters are here this morning, this is nearly 8 hours after the fire broke out. they have the ladder trucks out, using water to spray the building to get out hot spots. we are told the fire was brought under control at midnight. hazmat crews went in before 1:00 and cleared the area and said everything looks safe. the warehouse was completely burned down. this is what it looked like when the crews got here at 8:30. this is on south bayless. ist a chemical plating company that specialized in coating metal. the fire reached 3 alarms and homes had to be evacuated on tune street when high winds kept fueling the fire. a transformer outage knocked out power to 400bge customers. we put a call in to bg expe waiting to get an update on the situation. one thing fire investigators
