we're taught at a very young age to call 911 when there's an emergency. but you can't call 911 for just anything. one couple learned that in missouri. you're seeing their dog oreo. oreo is a great dane.

oreo is gigantic. the couple who owned him had a bit of a emergency with the dog. >> she collapsed, fell against the wall and to the ground. >> they called 911. within minutes an emergency service vehicle was there. immediately one of the workers said there's a huge problem here. >> she got to the middle of the room and she seen oreo and she threw her hands up and said, it's a dog. are you kidding me. >> you don't call 911 for a dog. >> one of the ambulance workers did give the dog oxygen and take him to an emergency clinic but it was too late. they passed away. they refer to her as their third daughter. close to the animal. within 24 hours they showed up at the home with a ticket. >> why? >> it was a medical emergency. instead of a person it was a dog. >> the police brought a summons to the house, or ticket, for a
