what happens today. >>reporter: investigators will be back on the scene today looking into the crash that killed 7 people including three children. also today, the medical examiner is expected to release the cause of death. it happened sunday, two sisters ages 45 and 39, three girls ages 10, 7 and 3 and their grandparents visiting from the dominican republic. police say the 45-year-old woman was driving south on the bronx river parkway when she lost control of the honda pilot. the suv flipped over a four- foot high iron fence and dropped about 60 feet landing upside down in remote area of the zoo away from the exhibit and closed to visitors. all 7 were pronounced dead at the scene. >> we believe that the driver may have struck a barrier and reacting to striking that barrier, the driver makes a severe right-hand turn and goes over the side wall. >> now officials say the height

surviving their injuries much more than in the past. now that's putting a much bigger strain on vas and their budgets. around the nation, police in beaver, pennsylvania near pittsburgh say two teen girls were hit by a car. you see they fell asleep while sunbathing in the road. the 13-year-olds were hit sunday afternoon and airlifted to the hospital. authorities say the girls are in fair condition and they also say that one of the girls brothers stopped at a stop sign made a turn and hit the girls. a very brave story to tell you about. a young boy an 8-year-old right there went to a robber would-be robber after he tried to steal his mother's purse e was inside his kansas home when the suspect barged in and grabbed the purse. the boy and his family started to chase the robber through the neighborhood. the suspect ran down an embankment and then ran into an oncoming car. he is in the hospital with several broken bones. and no purse.

basketball player has been arrested for disorderly conduct. officers arrested howard about 2:30 in the morning on sunday. police say that he was not involved in a fight that took place, however, he was shouting close by. howard missed the last month of the season after suffering a knee injury. now there is a statue at camden yards to honor frank robinson. we told you it was coming and it's official. it is in the area of -- beyond left centerfield. robinson says he is honored by the sculpture. >> this is a very special place in my heart baltimore. it always has been since i came here and it always will be and you the fans have made it that way. whenever i come back here, you make me feel welcomed and whenever i come back i see a lot of my exteammates and we all kind of just like we have been together for life.
