opening day for johns hopkins brand new hospital complex. linda so has more this morning on a preview. >> reporter: doors at the new state of the art facile will open to the public later this morning for the past two days, they have been moving existing patients from the old building in to the new one. this is a look inside the new hospital. they were moving pediatric patients in to the tower. a command center has been set up to monitor patients. a team of doctors and nurses monitor the progress to make sure it's a smooth transition for everyone. the facility has a new emergency department. it's different than ones they are used to. >> it won't be loud. we have taken the paging and the intense sound and put it away. we have a lot of sound dampening, ceiling tile and

>> louis and her husband got out of a burning house in time thanks to a 16 year old. the type is credited with saving his 69-year-old neighbor and her husband, the fire began on the second floor of the house, she and her husband were downstairs, she had no clue her home was about to erupt in flames. crews showed up more than 30 firefighters worked to put out the flames and keep it from spreading to the second floor. >> he was pounding on the door. >> i was banging on the door. i was banging on it hard, as a matter of fact. i was like there is a fire in the house. >> they went up stairs and looked. >> good for him. the family may not have a home, but they are thank to feel the teen for saving them. that fire is under investigation. sherrie johnson, abc2 news. consumer news this morning, a type of dry dog food recalled

road. traffic is moving along fine. you are going to have company on the roads if u heading out. keep that in mind. it doesn't look like delays on that side of the beltway. a look at 97, there at 50 and 97, you can see lights out on the road. not looking bad as far as congestion goes. if you head out, you are going to have a little bit of company. no incidence or delays to report. curtis bays u going to be held up for a little while. quarantine road and another area of can you 'tis bay, exchange at maryland 10, southbound area, they are doing construction there and that's causing delays on the road. another thing to keep in mind, if you are heading down 83 south, there is going to be delays later on this morning. delay because of the construction going on there. few things to keep in mind. things are moving slowly around the beltway. have a safe morning out. there that's a look at traffic.
