again, straight from the mouth of melissa fitzgerald. >> i said, of course i would love to. and a dog enjoy as cool dip with a manatee. >> playing like marco polo. we're going to begin today's show with dashcam video and take to you cartersville, georgia, for this. the story from wsb in atlanta. as this video begins you see not one but two patrol cars in pursuit of a green minivan. now, what happened was, officers tried to pull this green minivan over near a gas station, but the minivan, instead of pulling over for the cops took off. as the chase begins their driving speeds up to about 90 miles an hour on some busy roadways. >> i didn't even know a minivan could go that fast. >> the difference between a lot of the videos we've seen two officers in pursuit so actually have two angles of the chase. keep watching right here. they're about to stop this

minivan. first you see one officer clip the minivan. and watch. we've got what it looks like inside of the car that clipped the van. keep watching, because the minivan zooms past the cop car that clipped him, and then -- >> oh, the guy just bailed. jumped out. it's still moving. >> and he didn't fall. pretty amazing. >> and leaves the car in gear, and watch what happens. it rams into the back of the car, and take a look what this looks like from inside. the officer inside of this car, you can see his body go forward. he was injured. >> you know what this guy was running from? >> the driver's name according to reports, jonathan adams. they did end up getting him into custody. the reason they think he was running, according to police once they search the car they found stolen credit cards, debit cards and a driver's license belonging to a woman which obviously wasn't the driver's. >> they did a good job of getting that stopped without

smashing into anybody else. a poignant reminder to be careful with the electronic information on your cell phones or any other electronic device. from kmgh in denver, rich walked b into a best buy with his cell phone. >> they couldn't repair it and were giving me a new cell phone. >> soon after he started getting phone calls at his home phone. >> the phone started ringing constantly after that from an ex-spouse of a friend. >> no idea why his friends were calling. >> allegedly a best buy employee post add status update saying, i'm gay. >> oh! ouch. >> he did not log out of his facebook page. >> he should have known better than to not erase his phone. that's his fault. turn your phone in 101. >> rich time add complaint with

best buy and was told the employee was fired. best buy wouldn't confirm that that employee was fired. >> but they did issue a partial statement to kmgh. each year every employee of best buy is asked to review and sign our code of ethics including details on how they are expected to handle customer information. that's an obvious -- humiliated. >> i mean, my reputation has been tarnished. >> yeah. that is really unfortunate that that employee did that. took advantage of that opportunity to make a fool of this guy. that is really unfortunate. >> experts say, learn how to do either a hard restart on your phone or a full erase on your phone, on your laptop, on any electronic device that holds personal information. the target employees at an albuquerque store thought that taking down these two shoplifters would be by the book, but it was anything but. we got this video from kob in

albuquerque. two women were seen on video camera by store employees going up through the makeup section. these women identified at nicole and michelle. you can see there, these women are shopping. they're seen putting things in their bags and not paying for them when they leave the store. according to police, security steps in. you see michelle gordon. they take her down. the other one, you see the cursor, nicole walks out the door and according to police used her baby carrier to prevent them from taking her down. >> was there a child in this baby carrier? >> yes. a 2-month-old baby in the carrier. >> using their child as weapon? >> according to police, her child is a shield to prevent from getting stopped from allegedly shoplifting. >> did that work? did the tart security people back off? >> the tart security people did back off. if you look here in the video, her other children are seen running across the parking lot, not looking both ways. seemed obvious to them, maybe

that mommy is in trouble. >> great example mommy's making for her kids here. >> she was able to drive away, but one of the target employees got her license plate number and police say that nicole was not surprised when they showed up at her doorstep to place her under arrest. >> but would you think a mother would do everything to protect her little baby. >> it's not embarrassing enough to get caught stealing from target but you're using your child as a shield. >> you hear motherless do anything to protect their children. in this case she used her child to protect herself. i can't think of anything more selfish. >> tell me what lesson you learn from this video pap group of friends just walked out of a bar, a little wobbly and get into a car. >> a great parking spot, right outside the bar. >> oh! that's an ad campaign. >> for drinking and driving. it you're going to drink and then drive your friends around you might as well shoot them way shotgun. it's dangerous. >> you're right. created as part of the cool existence without violence campaign. >> and they're trying to very graphically bring home the message. >> seems like this graphic and violence act are the ones that stick. the one that people remember. i was wondering if maybe the guy was going to turn the gun on himself at the end. because it's just that dangerous for yourself to drink and drive as it is for other people in the car, but hediddn't. g in and drove instead. there's always a way to get home. you know? cab. a friend. subway. pick your car up in the morning. it's easier. >> get a hotel room. right wherever you are. >> pass out on the sidewalk. >> sleep at the bar, and wake up in the morning. that's fine. >> that's very dangerous. >> who hasn't done that? once a week. produce it and help us put it together? and i thought it was a great cause and i said, of course. i would love to. >> where did you shoot this? since the "west wing" set is no longer in existence? >> that was really a challenge. we ended up going to the reagan library. >> any embarrassing stories about beth from when she worked at the "west wing"? >> oh, so many. they was so wonderful and always incredibly upbeat and friendly and hard working and professional. i got nothing. >> probably because she's totally changed. >> what was it like for everybody to come back together? >> it was just terrific, and we had so many blasts on that day. >> what about a show about walking and talking? >> no. >> yeah. >> it was such a magical experience working on that show, and, you know, beth knows i had a small part in it, but it really was an incredible time i think for everybody. >> come friends. we're going for a walk!
