peter's church in ellicott city. the pastor spoke about the two women who were shot in the church office. >> the accomplishments and friend to the whole parish, things too numerous to mention. >> the shooting has left the community trying to figure out what happened. >> reporter: yesterday afternoon around 5:30 this quiet community in ellicott city changed forever. police arrived at st. peters episcopal church. brenda brewington, a church administrator, was shot to death. marguerite kohn, the corector was shot and rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

police found the body of 56-year-old douglas franklin in nearby woods. he lived in a makeshift camp site not far from where his body was found. >> he would visit the church to access the food bank. >> reporter: the visits became confrontational, so the church asked limb -- asked him to leave. >> it may have been that he was angry with the church. we don't believe the two women were targeted. we believe they happened to be there at the time. >> i think it's trosomeone woul. it makes you feel apprehensive, i guess. that would be so close to our house. >> reporter: the family of miss brewington are stunned. neighbors are having trouble come prehanding the homicide.

knows the lyrics. when he told a first grade girl that same line he was suspended for three days for sexual harassment i'm floored. they're going to look at him like he's a pervert. that's not fair to him. >> reporter: with a passion for art, this first grader came as a special needs student. he's had other discipline problems including the same line to the same girl last month. his mother met with the assistant principal. >> i think it's overwhelming, you know sexual harassment on a 6-year-old. >> reporter: no one from the school would talk with us. we checked the discipline code. it reads sexual harassment must have negative effects on the learning or work of others, something the senior psychologist said a 6-year-old won't comprehend. >> purposely going out of your way to irritate and sexualize a

jobs, are able to work, are not able to find work. they have dropped out of the workforce. we see both campaigns trying to spin this in their own direction. >> after the worst economic crisis since the great depression, our businesses have created more than 4.2 million new jobs over the last 26 months. >> this hasn't gotten better at the rate of speed they had been told it would get better. that's, in part, because the obama policies didn't work. >> reporter: we have six monthly job reports to go before the november elections. >> mitt romney also spent part of the day courting one specific republican, his former rival, rick santorum. what can you tell bus that meeting? >> reporter: you look at the pictures from the debates. today romney and santorum met privately in pennsylvania. we're told that santorum said he would like to she more conservative voices such as the
