we're told the teacher found the weapon. we'll have the latest information on this story just as soon as this becomes available. tonight two men are dead after losing control of their car and swerving into the path of a tractor-trailer. it took two lives in the 12500 block of jarrettsville pike. >> reporter: police and rescue crew rushed to the crash site but the fate of two young men traveling in a volkswagen jetta had already been sealed when the car swerved into the path of the tractor-trailer rig. >> i was told years earlier this was called dead man's curve. >> reporter: this accident came

in thick fog on a blind curve. the car was no match for the 15-ton tanker truck carrying 45,000 pounds of milk down to virginia. >> he was coming southbound on jarrettsville pike. there was a northbound car in his lane that had lost control. it took out his front end steering and help ended up here in the ditch. >> reporter: two men in their 20s were pronounced dead at the scene while paramedics transported a third man to shock trauma with life-threatening joirls-- injuries. the man in the tractor-trailer suffered both physically and emotionally from the hospital. >> right now he's at sinai being checked out for possible injuries. after the fact he will be able to go for counseling or whatever he feels he needs. >> now police are withholding

the names of the victims until they can notify their families. the tractor-trailer is one of 10 owned by my t trucking. right now a service is being held at st. peters -- episcopal church. two women, brenda brewington and marguerite mary kohn were shot. earlier the pastor spoke about it. >> it's saddened beyond words by the shooting. >> the two women were shot by a homeless man. he would visit the church on a regular basis. he was recently asked to leave the food bank and not come back. investigators believe that's why he went back and opened fire. a disturbing discovery

behind a school. police say a woman walking her dog found a victim behind windsor hills elementary. the school decided to close for the day. police are investigating the shooting. the mother of a 13-year-old boy who was accidentally shot by a neighbor is being investigated. the woman's dna was found on the person. another teen admitted to hiding the body. baltimore county police arrested a man for wanting to -- for waiting to sneak into women's bathrooms and looking into stalls. zachary cambell creeped into the women's bathrooms to look at the women in the stalls. if you have experienced a similar incident, you're asked

to call baltimore police. at the end of the day, commissioner fred bealefeld just want people in the baltimore area to know he worked his tail off every day he came to work. he is hanging up his badge but not before talking to our own brian kuebler. >> reporter: in a town this size, the city knows there will be whys pers but he -- whispers. the city has seen historic lows in crime. bealefeld credits that with changing the culture, going after the bad guys with gun many. he also tried to improve community relations. he is proud about how he and his force were able to accomplish the recent goals and said every day he went to work, it was

about the people he served. >> there was a lot of consternation about my colorful language, calling people knuckleheads, morons and idiots. i've always felt like i was speaking for other people and i tried to use this position to advocate for the people of this city. >> reporter: now mayor stephanie rawlings-blake says she respects bealefeld's decision and said that hey has made a great impact on this city. >> it was tough decision for him to maifnlgt i have to respect he wants to spend more time with his family. he's been a great commission per, been here twice as long as the average listing commissioner for a city this size.

in tonight's consumer alert, you may want to switch your tooth brush. church and dwight company is recalling the spin brush tooth brush. it can overheat possibly causing a fire, shock or burchlt for more information you can call the number you see often your screen there. a new park is hoping in downtown baltimore that's a great place for your kids to play. pierce park opens. it is on one acre. it features sculptures. kids can climb on them and rain gardens as well. the waterfront partnership says the park is a reflection of their commitment to creating a healthy harbor. the benches are made of blocks that are rescued from the streets of baltimore. we have lots of bike racks, so people can bike here or moms can
