or storm to pop up. this morning we are dealing with some patchy fog. so we do have reduced visibility once again, only about six miles in baltimore, seven in easton, five in fredrick and york coming in right around three. two miles of reduced visibility in hagerstown and zero now in culpepper. that's gone downhill since the last time i told you about it. mild this morning, come f temperatures coming in in the 60s. let's get a check of time saver traffic with lauren. patchy fog causing problems out there? reporter: yes. it might be a good morning to turn on the low beams. the northeast corridor of 95, no delays to talk about in the white marsh area, traveling southbound you're looking at a 14-minute ride from the beltway all the way to downtown baltimore. fortunately 695 is also going to be nice and clear. as we check in and take a look in the parkville area, everything up to speed at hartford road. here's a look at the west side at liberty road. a few more cars out there but no congestion whatsoever. you are looking at an 11-minute

ride on that outer loop from 795 down towards 95. and if you are using the jfx to get into the city, do be aware of all that construction that continues to block one lane in both directions at 28th street. that's a look at your abc 2 time saver traffic. charley, over to you. new details this morning on the extent of the injuries suffered by the man who fatally shot florida teen trayvon martin. abc news' sherree johnson is here with all new information. sheree, what have these medical reports reveald about that february night? reporter: well, charley, yes, we've learned that george zimmerman went to his family doctor the day after trayvon martin was shot and killed. abc news has revealed exclusive information about zimmerman's medical report. zimmerman's doctor wrote a private medical report that specified his injuries. it says zimmerman had a closed fracture of his nose, two black eyes and two cuts on the back of his head. it also says the doctor recommended zimmerman follow up with an ear, nose and throat specialist but he did not. martin's autopsy showed he had knuckle injuries. this could boost zimmerman's claim that he was attacked by

martin. an attorney for the martin family reacted to the news. >> he was standing his ground. it was self-defense. so if somebody got a gun, i want to fight for my life. reporter: now, zimmerman is free on $150,000 bail. he hasn't been seen since his bail hearing nearly a month ago. sheree johnson, abc 2 news. now 5:32, and news around the nation, police in mississippi are looking for a gold crown victoria that could be connected to two highway murders. they say the suspect may be acting as a fake cop. police believe the gunman may be using police lights and other law enforcement equipment. authorities say blue lights aren't illegal to own, but it's illegal to display them in your car. >> you can't just go out and buy police equipment, law enforcement gear, you can't just without proper credentials. >> the troopers say the fake scenario is one idea. they say also someone could be pretending to need help on the side of the highway. police in indiana are on a

. news time 5:37. with so much bad news we tell you on a daily basis, this one is going to lift your spirits. it's the feel-good story of the day. so call your friends and tell them all about a young girl from westminster who's now try to go raise money for two victims. 16-year-old lauren clem heard about a wheelchair ramp being stolen from a dundalk home where two men with cerebral palsy live. this made her so mad she decided to do something about it. she's going to have bake sales, yard sales, whatever she can do to help. she needs to raise $4,000 to replace that ramp. jeannette price says the wheelchair ramp was used by her two adult soons who are strik -- sons who are stricken with cerebral palsy. >> stealing first off is wrong, but especially where it's obviously a need for that person. >> the look on her face was complete stress. she didn't know what she was going to do. >> cheryl connor did a great story on this last night. that girl is 16 years old and

. it is now 5:43. the horses are arriving and the festivities getting under way. you can even hear it in the background right there. they're getting ready for the preakness weekend. abc 2 new' linda stow is live at pemlyco. the horses are already up for the day. reporter: that was one of the major trainers here. we just missed him. he went right by. they're out for a morning stroll. this is mike from the american jockey club. mike, thanks for joining us. lots going on here. how many horses do we have?

>> there's currently three preakness horse that is are here. there are horses that are going to run all weekend that are still here training. by noon we'll know who's going to be in the preakness and at 6:00 is the actual post position draw. it's been really huge, linda, having the derby winner here two days after the derby rather than two days the normal day that they get here. so it's the amount of exposure we've gotten. you can't put a price tag on it. reporter: the preakness is saturday, as everyone knows. but lots going on here. people can come out, you guys are starting the tours today. >> the tours start today. there's probably a total of 20 horses here today plus the clydesdales which are a big draw. if you want to come out, friday would be the great day. everyone is here, all the out- of-town media is here, all you guys are here. it's a pretty cool experience to get a behind-the-scenes look at these amazing animals. reporter: we're talking about some new things that are happening with the preakness this year. one of them is the betting system, something you guys are kind of using technology this

a.m. we're live, linda stow, abc 2 news. 5:45. with so many events leading up to the preakness, we want to know what your favorite part of the event is. what's your favorite part? is it the race? is it the sunrise at old hilltop? is it the bands or the hats, what have you, your favorite things about the preakness, go to facebook and let us know what you think. time now for consumer news. a new report says the tsa is not adequately reporting and tracking or fixing airport security breaches. a new jersey senator requested that study after a series of breaches at newark international. one of the incidents included a passenger with a knife bypassing tsa screeners. another breach included passengers walking around the security checkpoints like what you just saw there. congress is is now set to discuss this report later today. it was a pricey mistake at a gas pump in wisconsin. a bp station accidentally priced the gas 37 cents a

gallon. when was the last time gas was 37 cent? >> 1973. >> that's according to tom. that caused hundreds of cars to line up, hoping to fill up. once that mistake was realized, the pumps were immediately shut down, but dozens got to take advantage of the low price, if just for a moment. now, we're pretty sure no place around here has that kind of a deal, but if you do want to know the least expensive gas in your area, abc2news.com, put in your zip code and we'll find you the least expensive gas near your home. coming up a little bit later today mayor stephanie rolins blake will join city and nonprofit leaders making an announcement about the baltimore city super sum iser. it's a comprehensive effort to provide education, employment, nutrition, recreation to all kids. the initiative is a partnership between baltimore city public schools, also focuses on the importance of keeping your mind and body active during those sum iser months. governor martin o'malley will host a ceremony designating new river trails in

five states. they're now going to be historic components of the exists captain john smith chesapeake national historic trail established in 2006. the designation is is part of president barack obama's great outdoors initiative. that's going on right now. it's going to be taking place at sandy point state park. again, that is later today. katherine mannion of clarksville has been named the winner of the largest undergraduate literary prize in the nation. the winner was named tuesday in new york city. the value of that prize is is is more than $58,000. mannion took the prize with the submission of four short stories and excerpts of her thesis the role of writing taking place in literature. this morning a johns hopkins plastic surgeon is not only a doctor, also a professional dancer that competed against well-known pros. the doctor is is ranked 38th best in the world. he even competed against some of the pros you watch every week on "dancing with the stars." three years ago he met dr. noel sherbert who's also a dancer.

different today as that system is beginning to push out of the area, all those rain showers. and behind it, though, we do have a cold front that's going to move in here. before we do so, we will get some sunshine as we go throughout the day. the cold front will move in and that will be bringing us a chance for some showers, scattered in nature as we go into the afternoon. there's the cold front right there, there are the showers that we could be seeing as we go 4:00, 5:00 maybe for your commute home today. behind that, though, high pressure is going to do its thing, build in. we will have is plenty of sunshine in the forecast for tomorrow, friday, also saturday and even sunday is. so things are definitely looking up if you like the sunshine, but today it's going to be very warm out there, that temperature coming in right around 85 degrees, not ruling out the chance for those storms in the forecast. this is what it looks like for your next seven days here. it looks pretty good. lots of sunshine in the forecast, temperatures more seasonable as we head into thursday. friday we get a little bit warmer, but plenty of sunshine continues as we go into saturday and sunday with our next chance for some showers and possibly a thunderstorm moving in here as we head into
