parkville erg also up to speed. it will be a nice easy ride all the way up towards towson. back over to you. a developing story out of north eastern texas. a 4.3 magnitude earthquake hit there near the louisiana border. people as far away as shreveport, louisiana felt the tremor. so far no reports of significant damage. this is the second quake to hit east or northeast texas in a number of weeks. the family of a northeast baltimore girl says that justice was in no way served. the two boys accused of shooting her and hiding her body have been sentenced. >> we've learned that the 12-year-old boy will be home monitored in harford county. the 13-year-old will spend six months in a juvenile center.

the girl's mother says the sentence is unfair. they say the pain is just as bad as the night the 13-year-old died in march. the boys admitted to shooting the girl and covering her up with trash bags and leaving her for dead. >> they free and they walked away and it's not right. >> she was breathing when they put her out there. what kind of parent would do that? what kind of friend would do that? >> edith turnage says she never heard a word from the boys' family. we've learned the investigation continues into the man that owns the rifle. the police officer who found the rifle in his personal car and the mother of one of the s whose dna was found on the body. no rest for baltimore's new average bishop this morning he's going to say a prayer at pimlico and he'll be serving lunch at our daily bread. yesterday 2,000 people watched him take over as average bishop

>> brown and his group were boast known for the hit busting loose. 5:34 right now. a dramatic horse rescue in southern california. a photo shoot at the beach went wrong when the horse panicked and busted the rider off. the coast guard had to rescue the horse to the side of a boat and bring that horse back to shore. the horse was exhausted when it arrived to shore but we're told this morning that horse was doing just fine. a bike thief in oklahoma should have stolen a set of training wheels because the crook broke through the window of a bike shop in south tulsa. surveillance video shows him taking the $500 bike. he falls face first on to the asphalt. the video offers more than just a little amusement for the owner of that bike. and she hopes that police will catch the thief and leave the broken bike behind. i guess he couldn't ride if he

you might stop because this actually happened to an indy rock band in ohio. one of the members there, it's here we go magic is the name. they tweeted out this picture of waters in their while they were driving through eastern ohio. waters now reportedly bought them all lunch. his sign read the end of 70 west. 70 west by the way ends in utah and it begins in baltimore. that's allegedly where waters began his journey so a local publication says that he is now hitchhiking across the country, but no word as to why. hopefully he is going to be talking about a movie. >> something is up. what do you think about that? >> i'm still pondering. >> would you pick him up if you

saw him? >> probably. >> probably. let me get to the weather right now because we are dealing with plenty of clear skies right now. that's a good thing. we'll get some sunshine in here as we go through the the day. a northerly breeze, those winds coming in here at about 5 to 15 miles per hour. we will see that as we go into the afternoon and that cool dry air is going to be trickling in as we go through the rest of the morning and it's going to be a nice seasonable afternoon. high pressure does its thing and that cold front makes its way through the afternoon as well. future trend trying to pick up on a coastal system working its way through the weekend but high pressure will remain on top of us so that means that we'll be seeing plenty of dry skies out there through sunday. for today that temperature coming in right around 75 degrees. mostly sunny and seasonable. get out there and enjoy it but if you miss it you can go tomorrow or maybe the next day. by tonight mostly clear and cool and then tomorrow's temperature comes in at 77 degrees. mostly sunny and mrebt once

again and here's a check of the 7-day forecast for you as we will see nice weather as we head into friday. we do have some showers next week. all right. let's get a check now with traffic. >> good morning. that forecast for preakness looks very, very nice. it is going to cause some road closures beginning tonight at 10:00 p.m. west rogers will be shut down at northern parkware and here's a look at the brand new time saver traffic system. it uses google satellite images to show you the trouble . click on the preakness page on our website to be aware of all the closures. the system also shows me how fast the speeds are clocking in. so that construction not causing an effect southbound. 51 miles per hour right now. no concerns through the parkville area. i'm able to pull up live images of pretty much any roadway that you will be using this morning.
