i'm diana perez, in for paula faris. >> i'm john muller. rob is off. we begin with the facebook fallout. investment bank, morgan stanley, is facing increased scrutiny, over its handling of last week's ipo. >> concern is growing that the big dance gave clients the upper hand, leaving everyone else to fend for themselves. abc's tahman bradley joins us with details. good morning, tahman. >> reporter: good morning, diana and john. investigators want to know if investors were left in the dark, while big, wealthy investors were warned off. as if the pain from the plunging facebook stock wasn't enough, now questions about the fairness of the company's highly-publicized initial public stock offering. >> let's do this. >> reporter: as the company was going public, regulators want to know if big banks gave investors special treatment. >> we need to look at specifically, with respect to facebook. >> reporter: one issue, as first reported by reuters, may be that three banks determined before

facebook's stock went public, that the company's earnings were likely to be lower than expected. and reportedly only shared that information with insiders, not with the public. >> it was this hype that was created. they were going to move the price up. so, they go to the insiders to say, if we move the price up, you can sell more stock. they took complete advantage of that, the insiders. >> reporter: the massachusetts secretary of the commonwealth has subpoenaed one of the banks, morgan stanley, in relation to certain information that may have been given to the company's big investors. in a statement, morgan stanley says its actions were, quote, in compliance with all regulations. an investor has sued nasdaq over its handles of facebook shares. nasdaq admits to mistakes, which led to trading disruptions during last friday's ipo. >> clearly, we had mistakes within the facebook listing. we still want to highlight the fact it was the largest ipo ever. >> reporter: with facebook stocks tumbling, it's the little guy, like this college student taking a hit.

>> i ended uh up selling my shares at an 11% loss. >> reporter: facebook fell 8.9% yesterday. that cost mark zuckerberg another $1.5 billion. >> staggering numbers. tahman bradley in washington. thank you. to mitt romney's latest primary wins. the gop hopeful easily won two primaries last night, picking up 42 delegates in kentucky and 31 in arkansas. he needs a few more delegates to claim the republican nomination. those are expected to come next week, when voters in texas take to the polls. same-sex marriage has been a campaign issue so far. and now, our new poll shows there could be a reversal in public opinion. our poll shows more people support gay marriage than oppose it. and that's a first. 53% say it should be legal. and 39% o suppose that. and 51% say they support president obama's stand on

same-sex marriage while 41% oppose the president's view. there's new information in the prostitution scandal. four agents are fighting their dismissal. they're claiming they're being scapegoats for behavior that had long been tolerated. he will tell a senate committee, despite the agents' misconduct in colombia, there was no breach in security. alarming moments onboard a u.s. airways jet flying from paris to charlotte. a woman onboard passed a note to a flight attendant saying she had a surgically-implanted device. fighter jets accompanied the jen to bangor, maine. most passengers had no idea the potential danger they faced. >> we see the security guys getting on. we figured it was maybe a sick passenger, something like that. when they started filing in, we knew something was up. >> i looked back. and i clearly saw that she was

ushered out of the back of the plane, with her hands behind her. either in cuffs or tied or something like that. it happened so fast, it was over before it began for us. >> the woman was examined by doctors for signs of an implant. and she was questioned thoroughly by investigators who later released here. the people of joplin, missouri, moving forward, one year after the monster twister ripped their city to shreds. they marked the anniversary with a moment silence at 5:41 p.m., the exact time the tornado hit. more than 5,000 people took part in a 4-mile march, through some of the hardest-hit neighborhoods. but the real focus was on the future. >> there's a real energy here. and people are excited about what rebuilding can mean. the resiliency, the compassion, the understanding. the excitement and energy for the future. and the cooperative spirit. >> you know what?
