right now. one in easton. and we have seen the one for a while. and along the eastern shore we have delays this morning because of the fog. so take it easy as you step out and about. we have about 8 miles in york and 4 in winchester. 7 in culpepper and 5 in hagerstown. now, you heard me talk about the mild temperatures close to 70 right now in edgemere. 67 to be exact and 61 in middletown and 63 degrees in hanover. and as you step out the door this morning you don't need the coats but you need the rain gear. i will show you that in a second. but winds will be on the light side stagnant with the humidity. a humid day on tap. the radar is dry right now but take the rain gear with you because going into the afternoon showers and thunderstorms possible to pop up in the forecast. and that will continue even as we go through the next several days here. so again we are pushing the repeat button and like we saw yesterday around 7, we did get rainfall across the area. and once again for today, moo of the -- more of the same. let's take it hour by hour for

today. by 8 a.m., temperatures right around 69 degrees. 75 degrees by lunchtime for today. and if we get a few peeks of sunshine, like we did yesterday, we could hear a rumble of thunder but today right around 78 degrees and more sunshine means temperatures closer to 80. and let's check of the abc timesaver traffic with lauren. how is the fog affecting the roadways. >> reporter: well, there is a lot reduced visibility out there this morning. so, if you are heading out you want to be extra careful reduce the speeds and turn on the low beams and unfortunately we do have an accident to tell you about on 695. it's going to be on the outer loop at loch raven and as we check in here at harford road you will notice it's not causing too much of a backup. so, that is the good news. but do watch out for an accident as you travel north up to the beltway. for 95, in white marsh, here's what it looks like at north of route 43. no delays to talk about. you are looking at 4-minute ride towards the beltway and it will remain nice and clear as you travel through the fort mchenry tunnel. that's a look at your abc2

timesaver traffic now back over to you. 5:31. the latest on a crash at rosecroft raceway that hurt three jockies. linda so is here to tell us what happened. linda. >> reporter: we have learned the crash happened on the track during a harness race that lapped last night about 9. this is individual gee different race moments after that incident. three racing jockies were hurt two lost consciousness a third was transported by ambulance. we are told they suffered serious injuries considered serious but nonlife- threatening. when med, arrived they were told to turn off the sirens to avoid scaring the horse and none were seriously hurt. the director of operation at the racetrack says the accident happened when the lead horse went down causing a train reaction crash. >> we are at harness racetrack and drivers are on behind the horse and it's behind the horse. sometimes it's little difficult for them to see around the

>> prosecutors say kim hauled off and hit the 10-year-old in the mouth so hard the tooth was knocked out. police showed up and arrested kim a short time later. a man outside a new york city street passed out in someone's yard and for a number of hours, no one came by to help. people did stop by but didn't call 911. and instead, one man went through the guy's pocket and threw off his shoes to check his socks for cash. a couple came along and did the same thing. the woman took his belt and eventually the man got up and left on his own. a couple who were critically injured in crash and the driver who was texting they are now suing not just the driver but also the person who sent the text and this could seat new precedent. david and linda each lost a leg in a head on collision. 19-year-old kyle best was texting his girlfriend shannon at the moment of impact. so they are suing both of them. not physically in the car, the

public hearing on the prostitution scandal involving u.s. military and secret service agents in columbia. we have learned 4 agents have decided to fight the dismissals and this could unravel a swift and tiedy resolution to an embarrassing scandal. they are expected to testify. the hearing comes as three drug enforcement administration agents are also under investigation for hiring prostitutes in colombia. we learned one of the three dea agents under investigation in that scandal may have had a long-term relationship with the colombian prostitutes. government investigators are trying to contact the woman to learn more about the relationship. maine senator susan collins says if true, it could have created abig risk. >> suffice it to say one of the dea agents it appears this is not the first encounter with

the woman who came back to the apartment. the reason that this is troubling is that these women are really unknown to our law enforcement personnel. >> reporter: the scandal involves roughly 20 suspected prostitutes. so far 9 secret service members were fired and three other agents were cleared of serious misconduct. sherrie johnson, abc2 news. today a highway sign is being dedicated in honor of the maryland state trooper killed in the line of duty two years ago. it is to honor trooper wesley brown shot to death in june 2010 while work part-time security at an applebee's. the sign unveiling will take place along interstate 495 near the state police barracks. the shooter was sentenced to life in prison earlier this month. today ravens head football coach john harbaugh will receive an outstanding civilian service award for the support

and this will continue through the rest of the morning and then it will begin to burn off. also, what we are going to be look at as we go throughout the day, well, we have the chance for showers to pick up in the forecast and i will show you that in a second. but here are the numbers. visibility is really reduced this morning. and baltimore only 6 miles of visibility and only one in easton. we have school closings. the school delays rather along the eastern shore. and only about 1 mile of reduced visibility in winchester. 5 in culpepper and hagerstown. in terms of the wet weather, well, we are not getting it right now. but we have the chance for more showers and thunderstorms to pop as we go through the afternoon. and if we get sunshine in here, that will really try to prime the atmosphere for thunderstorms. future trend picking up on the wet weather. the unsettled weather pattern continues even as we go through tomorrow and even on friday we still have chance for showers if the fore-- in the forecast. be prepared and make sure you have the rain gear. it will be scattered in nature. not everybody is going to be getting wet. for today, the temperature
