severe thunderstorm crossing i-70 to the west. i want to show you the motion. if you look here, this is not a line that's rapidly moving east. it's a line drifting more north or north of east. yes, eventually we think more impact to our western suburbs. it will take awhile, the storms tracking with a northerly component. nontheless, the severe thunderstorm watch from carroll county westward and both from allegheny county and into basically -- i'm sorry for washington county and frederick county. that is where we have severe thunderstorm warnings as well up into pennsylvania. i want to show you the changing weather in mt. airy. as we look at summit ridge, our sky showing a change. look at that shelf cloud to the west here at summit ridge. so, yes, impressive weather there. closer to baltimore, skies getting cloudy are but still not seeing the true sign of the

storms blowing in. we see the clouds thickening a bit, getting a blow off to the west. temperatures 88 at the airport. downtown well into the mid-90's today. temperatures across the state near 90. you seat wind shift from west instead of the south. that is our trough line pushing in that will begin to cool us off sway tomorrow with a more significant cooldown and dropping the humidity as we go toward thursday. temperature upper 60s. heat index very hot, feeling like 100 where the line of storms has not made it in. we have the hottest conditions. we'll look for that to continue for the next several hours, the pattern is an interesting one. we were have two weather makers. offer cool front beginning to spark those showers in western maryland. then, what is now remnants, just remnants of tropical depression

beryl. however, we think that beryl will actually combine with some of the energy from that storm line and and up redeveloping off the maryland coast, so this line of coasts will be on and off through 2 a.m. with the possibility of a hit or miss shower. there's a couple of stray showers. what will be interesting is further offshore we will be looking at the redevelopment and strengthening of that system that was once a tropical storm beryl. overnight 71 with thunder showers. temperatures dropping some, okay and somewhat of a drop in humidity but still the chance for showers in the afternoon and evening and as we look at the seven-day forecast, the outlook is cooler. i think everyone likes that. although it made for a great beach weekend, we were up near record highs on monday, so these temperatures more reasonable, more seasonable as we go into the and of the book and this full first weekend of june. >> all right. we'll take more seasonable.
