sampling the air every ten minutes. special ops took samples for evaluation checking to find out if there is a meth lab in this hotel. now howard county police arrested four men believed to be manufacturing methamphetamine in a hotel room at holiday inn express in elk ridge. police got a tip 10:40 about a meth lab. when officers arrived, they smelled a strong unusual odor in a room on the 4th floor. once officers went inside, that room, they say chemicals inside the room and arrested four men. they all are adults. authorities believe they checked into the hotel on saturday, and authorities evacuated rooms on the 4th floor and above and below the suspect's room. we caught up with one hotel guest who was evacuated. >> i've never expected anything like this. i mean, like i said, i been here two weeks and that is high scale place. i oh, my god, man, i didn't

even -- i don't know anything about this kind of -- apparently, a meth lab. and the only thing i do know is what i see on movies and a big bang. >> reporter: now we have been talking with howard county police this morning trying to get updated information. they have told us that they had the hotel guest in the lobby while they were investigating the hotel rooms on the 4th floor. but we are told about 4 this morning, they were allowed back- side the rooms. report -- back inside the rooms. sherrie johnson, abc2 news. jury selection begins in the injury sandusky child abuse -- jerry sandusky child abuse case. the former penn state football coach is expected to be in the court. sandusky is charged with sexually abusing 10 boys during a 14 years. charges to which he pled not guilty. he's been under house arrest since december and prosecutors says he met some of the victims through the charity he created

for underprivileged childrenp accusers asked a judge to protect their identities but on monday a ruling said the names will not be concealed once the case begins. new information about a triple shooting after 9. police say it happened in the 3400 block of lombard street in east baltimore. this is video from the scene. three people were shot and officials are saying that one of them may have been a juvenile. detectives are investigating and police believe all three victims will likely survive. arrangements have been made for the len-year-old boy shot business -- 11 year --11 year sold boy shot by his 8 -year-old brother as they played with a loaded gun. it was an accident. the viewings will be held at harkins funeral home beginning wednesday at 6 p.m. another viewing will be thursday at 11 funeral services willfollow. no charges have been filed against the 8-year-old. lawyers for the accused east coast rapist wants to enter an insanity plea but the client is making things

difficult. aaron thomas is accused of 17 sexual assaults. his attorneys filed a motion but thomas is refusing to meet with the mental health evaluator. he can't plead insanity unless he does. a hearing is scheduled for friday. an exraven will be in atlanta court. jamal lewis filed bankruptcy listing more than $14 million in assets and 10 million in debt. he is seeking to convert the case to a chapter 7 filing where he can sell off his assets. lewis is one of several nfl players suing the league over concussion injuries. news time 4:36. and g op convention in tampa is not for another two months when mitt romney will formally accept the presidential nomination but there are five state primaries. california, montana, new jersey new mexico and south dakota. mitt romney secured the delegates to secure the nomination after the texas
