>> good morning. it's cool this morning once again. the temperatures below average. good morning perry hall coming in around 51. 50 in churchville and bowie around 54. like you did yesterday, you will need the jacket as you step out and about. the wind are calm as of now. not picking up so much as we go throughout the day. we look at maryland's most powerful radar as of nowp and things are drying out. -- now, and things are drying out. we could see an isolated shower throughout the morning and afternoon. but we have coastal concerns in effect until 1 p.m. the areas here shaded in the darker blue we are looking at a coastal flood warning. so be prepared for that. i will talk about that coming up but right now let's check the traffic with lauren cook. good morning. how are the roads. >> reporter: good morning. we start the day off with an accident on 95. it's right around the northbound lanes at caton avenue. watch out for that if you are traveling in the area. no delays traveling through the fort mchenry tunnel or harbor tunnel and clear on the

satellite and radar picking up on a few thunderstorms. you can see them pushing in across tennessee making their way over to north carolina as of now. and once again, the south does have a chance for severe weather as we go into the afternoon. here at home an isolated shower or two. but charley talked about the cloud cover and that's pushs it's way in here. an isolated shower is possible today. make sure you have the rain fear but as you head out the door look at temperatures in the 40s. 47 in westminster good morning to you. faithersburg 47 and rockville around 48 degrees. further back off towards the east you go you are looking at 50s. the low 50s in joppa and churchville. the temperatures are well below average. we should be right around 59 degrees now for this time of the year. and good morning to you northeast around 50 and galena seeing more of the same. let's talk about the coastal

concerns. this is in effect until 1 p.m. and being see the areas shaded in the blue. harford county and southern baltimore county and even anne arundel county and travels taking you to dc they are under a coastal flood warning until 1 p.m. what we are having is a high tide and that onshore flow. so that's going to cause problems for today. you look at the light blue areas here and this is a coastal flood advisory that is in effect until 1 p.m. let's check the traffic with lauren cook. good morning. how are the road you were talking about an accident. >> reporter: good morning. yes, we have a crash this morning on 95. it's right along the northbound lanes at caton avenue. so watch out for that. it's not leading to a backup through the fort mchenry. 895 through harbor tunnel is clear as we pull up a live picture north of child street. not too many cars out there yet. it will be a easy ride. now on 83 as we check in and take a live look north of downtown and northern baltimore county, no problems to report here at shawan. it will be a easy ride to the

in woodbine. near the 40s. 46 degrees to be exact. joppa at 52. the only good thing out of this really is the fact the wind are calm and they should stay light as we head throughout the day. charley. >> thanks a lot. 4:46. and new this morning a. hotly contested recall elect in wisconsin concluded with republican scott walker retaining his office as the state's governor. it's the first time in u.s. history a sitting governor survived a recall election and the it's the third recall overall and linda so is here with all new reaction. >> reporter: governor scott walker thanked his supporters and says he is focused on the future and getting back to his work as governor. the bitter recall garnered national attention and governor o'malley who served as-- serves as the chairman of the democratic governor association is weighing in on the results saying things could have been different had president obama visited the state to campaign for the fellow democrat maim tore barrett. walker had to fight to keep his job after voters petitioned for

his removal. he fired up unions after successfully stripping away the bargaining rights to balance the state budget. big name republicans and democrats poured millions of dollars into the race. some believe the race has implications for the presidential race in november. president obama easily won the state back in 2008 but walker's victory could give republicans a boost. governor o'malley said had obama advice theed the state he would have brought the race to a new level. >> i think the appearance of the president has the potential to nationalize a race that quite frankly should be about whether or not the people of wisconsin are creating jobs and expanding opportunity again. >> reporter: now exit polls show wisconsin voters favor the president over romney. linda so, abc2 news. it was a clean sweep for mitt romney who won primaries in california, also winning in

new jersey, south dakota, new mexico and montana. he exceeded the number to clinch the nomination. only one state primary remayors and -- remains and that's utah. an anonymous hacker claimed to have broken into romney's personal e-mail account and it seems the person e-mailed gawk wear password to a hot mail account e used it while governor of massachusetts and the hacker gained access by answering the security question what's yourfavorite pet. today school superintendent dr. joe heirston will celebrate -- hairston will celebrate the final graduating class and celebrate with the students at sparrows point who started their education when he began as county superintendent. and another graduation in minnesota parents are not happy at all. they say the high school violated the students' rights by having them take a breathalyzer test during the

it's kinder jeanedeller. it's -- gentler but it's cool. >> especially for this time of year. we should be at 59 for this time of the year. you can see the temperatures about 53 degrees in baltimore and 52 in easton. and look at dc at 58. 49 in salisbury. and 54 degrees in winchester. 55 in culpepper. you need the jacket as you head out and about. we are looking at the possibility for needing that umbrella again for today. not too much rain. the pattern will be like the last couple days where there's a possibility of some isolated showers coming in here. this morning, we do have that cloud cover and if you don't like cooler temperatures you are not a fan you should be happy we have the cloud cover because if we were clear the skies are clear under a calm wind like we have oh, boy, the temperatures would be in the low 40s probably this morning. we have a batch of rain down off towards the south here and we do have the upper-level low

the grand opening is tonight. in the area of 295 and 100 you will have heavy congestion. it's expected. the construction to the new interchange on 295 northbound at arundel mills boulevard is expected to be completed next week. so hopefully that will provide relief in the area. as i mentioned, the accident on 95 has cleared there at caton. no delays to talk about traveling through the fort mchenry tunnel harbor tunnel is nice and clear. that will continue in the white marsh area. southbound lanes not going to take you that long. just 14 minutes to traveling from the beltway to downtown baltimore and here's a live look at the beltway, the top side nice and clear towson checking in at york. it will be an easy ride up towards 83. west side going to be clear as you drive from liberty road all the way down to edmonton. that's a look at your ba. c -- abc2 timesaver traffic. you know how important it is to take care of yourself if
