to another car. according to reports, the man driving that car shares custody of a 4-year-old child with the woman standing at the gas pump. they had scheduled to meet up at this 7-eleven so he could bring the child back to the mom. but instead of bringing the child, he gets out of the car, brandishing a long knife, and then do you sauses the woman's the woman with gasoline. you can imagine where this story is headed. >> she begins to run away from the man. she runs into the 7-eleven for safety. and watch as the surveillance camera picks up inside the store. >> oh, my god. >> you can hear her screaming and she is trying desperately to hold the door closed. the man overpowers her and pulls her back outside. >> oh, my god. [ screaming ] >> look at that fire. >> police did come to the scene. the man fled. two hours later, police did track him down. they did take him into custody and he is facing first degree

attempted murder charges. the woman was quickly rushed to the hospital, and miraculously is expected to survive. has burns to her body and to her face. >> hopefully the police just get this guy out of her life. >> what would possess somebody to do that? the mother of their child. human garbage. [ scream ] >> vero 2012 huge international soccer event in poland and the yu ukraine. and the soccer hooligans. this is from poland. and in it, you see a bunch of people in those red and white-checked shirts. those are croatian fans. what we see in this video, polish riot police in a full-on battle with a ton of croatian fans, and things start to get really crazy, really fast. >> oh, my gosh. >> geez!

>> yeah, it starts out with a few of the ride police and looks like a ton of croatian soccer fans are throwing chairs, heard that explosion. it looked like it was a flair or some sort of smoke bomb before eventually riot police group together and get the crowd under control. i lost track of the guy they had initially had in handcuffs. what happened to that guy? >> they got a guy in shorts and black shirt. three officers leading that guy away. and that's when it looked like his friends come in and start really attacking the police. oh, he got away! >> this guy got out of there. he got out of dodge quick, man. according to a police spokesperson, three people were arrested in this incident, and it all started in a bar with some inintoxicated fans. i just never understand the idea of rioting when you're there for some awesome event. paid a lot of money to be there. the tickets aren't cheap, not easy to get to these places.

i don't get riding in the streets and ruining it. this video is actually seen in a documentary called "burn: one year on the front lines in the bath battle to save detroit" and it shows the firefighters in detroit. and in this scene, you hear a man asking for his dog. >> is that my dog? you do see the firefighters bring a very limp dog. >> oh. >> he drops him on the floor, and they bring out the second dog, and he too shows signs of life, but -- >> think about it. humans suffer from smoke inhalation in the exact same situation in this house. they're going to be affected a lot more from smoke than we would. >> but the firefighter quickly takes off his mask and starts

giving the second dog oxygen. and then they move the mask over to the smaller dog. amazingly, saving both of them. >> they both survived? >> they both survived. a few seconds later, look. >> dog is already wagging his tail. >> gave him some water, and next thing you know, they're both just walking around. >> oh, wow. >> this is a great video. because look at the firefighters. they're bravely saving the home, and at the same time, they're so kindly rescuing these dogs. >> i was amazed and surprised that that's all it took to bring the dog back around. >> the owner of the dogs did go up to the firefighter and shook his hand. thanking him for having saved the dogs. the directors that put this documentary together, sanchez and tom putnam, are still looking for donations from people to help finish the project. part of the allure of owning and driving an exotic super car is the rev and sound of the engine. the showiness of the car.

calgary. these guys were inspecting tile on the side of this skyscraper in downtown calgary and their scaffold gave way. >> oh, now i see it. so that thing hanging at the bottom was a scoff fold that's supposed to be a platform holding them up. >> luckily, they did have safety harnesses. one guy is holding on to the rope and you can see him moving his arms like his arms are going to sleep. the other guy seems so terrified, he just hangs there. >> they're both clearly harnessed in. they're not really in any immediate danger, as long as all of the other rigging is holding up, right? >> so far all of the other rigging was holding up. they did call emergency workers to come in. and watch this rescue take place. you see one firefighter propelling down from the top of the building. the other firefighters had to use the tall ladder with the platform. they raise it up as high as they could possibly get it and actually get level with the lower guy. they did rescue both of these men. they were taken to an area
