photo controversy was used to get her firing. >> what was the reason for your termination? >> i believe they used the media as an excuse. it's a highway near-miss that was simply -- >> incredible. >> how this stunt driver pulled some sick moves. and you know those signs that say don't pee in the pool? >> they needed that. >> even though what happened here is so much worse. >> maybe he didn't know that anything was going to come out. >> i would be out of that pool so fast. it's time to get our show started, and steven has our first video. >> a couple of road rage videos for you guys. the first involves a man in a boxing match with a bus. yeah, this is apparently in malaysia. this guy had some sort of problem with the bus. as you can see in this video, he's full-on punching the windshield of this thing, elbow shiver. also kicks the door. a bit of a mismatch if you ask

me, man versus bus. the guy taking the video, of course, reminds us that -- >> road rage happens everywhere in the world. >> these two videos, apparently it happens a lot in malaysia because we have another road rage incident from malaysia. these two guys on a busy highway have a little fender-bender. looks like they're maybe going to talk it out. oh, let's see, should we exchange insurance information? i don't know. do you have geico? do you have a cut rate policy? i'm not really sure. actually, let's get in a huge fight on the highway. these guys kduke it out. the guy in the red shirt, as you can see, has some sort of weapon. i don't know if it's a bat. >> oh, my gosh. >> that is a sloppy fight. >> just swinging, tripping, rumbling, stumbling down the road. here the guy gets school boyed by the median and totally falls over in front of one of those cars and there are numerous instances during this video where you think, okay, it's

over. but it's not over, they keep going. these guys go for round two. >> knocked him out of his shoes. >> the guy in the red eventually says, okay, we're done. he tosses his weapon. that's when the guy in the pink shirt goes, okay, now is my time to come in. >> is that blood on the other guy's shirt? >> the guy in the pink shirt looks like he's bleeding pretty bad actually. >> this is so embarrassing. if that was my dad, i would be like, i don't know who that guy is. >> wait until you see what these guys are in this fight about. >> it's like i don't even see a dent. i on en e a glass. it's like the two cars just kiss. this guy did not get hurt in this car accident but instead got the snot beat out of him for no good reason. in this surveillance video we found on kiro-tv, we found john alcorn who went to this mini mart. he paid for $83 worth of gas

outside and when he came inside to buy some groceries and pay for a lottery ticket, his card was declined. turns out the card he was trying to use was allegedly a stolen card. >> so it maybe wasn't working because the machine was asking for a zip code. >> or the owner of the card had already cancelled the card because they realized it had been stolen. >> i would be out of there the minute they discovered that wasn't working. but he obviously tried to make his case. >> the store owner then follows him outside. and in the process john ends up assaulting him. but he ends up getting away, because of this surveillance video, they were able to identify him. as you can see, it's a very clear photograph. >> he was probably trying to intimidate the clerks to get them to pass -- to put the card through, claiming it was their fault. >> but if it's somebody's card that they have shut off, they

can't put the card through. what do you want them to do. if the card doesn't work, it doesn't work. >> apparently he had already racked up $83 of gasoline outside so he probably thought that he would be able to use it inside. >> maybe he stole the card from someone who didn't have more than $83 in their account, like what a doofus. dude, you need to be in jail. >> they found him six days later and jailed him on accusations of robbery and assaulting the store owner. not long ago i brought you the story behind these photographs. now, if you'll remember, these photographs sparked a national debate and some controversy, particularly because of this photograph. if you remember, two military moms breastfeeding their children in uniform. now, according to reports, both of these moms have been disciplined accordingly. this entire campaign was put together by the mom-to-mom breastfeeding support group, which was a group of military moms that came together to raise awareness about breastfeeding.

we have an update on this story. and crystal scott, the woman who is the program director of mom-to-mom, lost her job as an x-ray technician. >> get out of here. >> and we wanted to find out exactly what happened. so "right this minute" from spokane, washington, we have crystal scott. >> what was your reason for the termination. >> the company decided to let me go. when i asked they said it was due to media. however, i believe a couple of weeks prior i complained about gender discrimination, so i believe they just used the media as an excuse to fire me. but i love my job, it's a career for me. i want to do this until i can no longer do it. >> you said a few weeks before you complained about discrimination. describe that. >> it was a male employee, actually my supervisor, mistreating, favoritism and now i think it's just retaliation. because the media has put mom-to-mom in such a positive light. >> did they explain why they

thought the media attention could affect their x-ray business? >> no. that was all that they told me. >> do you plan any legal action to get your job back? >> i hope that i can gain employment at a greater company and be able to showcase my skills. >> when you lost your job on june 1st, how did you feel? >> sad, shocked, disappointed to be wrongfully terminated for the media. i was upset. >> how do you feel ultimately knowing that supporting breastfeeding an supporting breastfeeding photos led to you losing your job? >> i believe this was more of like a retaliation based on my complaint a couple of weeks ago. and the media, they just kind of used that as a means to punish me. i was doing something for the good of people. i feel like our organization is making positive changes for women all over the world. to be punished for something that was good is unfortunate. >> we reached out to scott's employer for a response but they didn't get back to us by our deadline. many of us have seen the bits and pieces of tire on the

highway, but rarely do we see how those bits and pieces of tire get there. watch this truck on the right side of your screen and watch closely. whoa! >> oh! >> oh! >> oh, my! >> how did it manage to stay upright? oh, my goodness. >> incredible. the front left tire explodes, sending the truck out of control. somehow the driver manages to keep the truck on its wheels. it looks like it was carrying crates of produce, a lot of that stuff fell off the truck all over the road. it seems that nobody got hurt in this explosion. >> this video surprises me because i thought 18-whilers were equipped -- that's why they had the double tires in the back so if one blew you had the other tire to make it stabilized. >> it looks like it's the front left tire and those aren't dual tires. >> that blue truck behind him got real lucky that he wasn't any closer or parallel to him because that could have been a

highly produced. >> that made it look more fake. penny plays ball at the park. >> this one is going to break your heart. >> these people are out on white rock beach near vancouver, cana canada. and they're paying their respects to this large hump-backed whale that beached itself minutes before dying. >> it was spotted early tuesday morning, it was still alive. but within the hour it had already passed on. marine biologists were called to the scene where they did determine that this humpback whale had probably died because it was tangled in some form of

fishing line. the images we're seeing now from itn news shows the whale's carcass with lacerations and some parts it's even bleeding. you do see the line that has been removed from the whale. it was tangled around its mouth. it was about 28 feet long and they believe it was about three years old. marine biologists do say that this humpback whale was severely emaciated because it probably wasn't able to eat for a very long time. >> for such a powerful and huge animal to get taken down by something like fishing line, it's surprising to me. >> this poor animal was suffering so desperately that it killed itself because it couldn't live the way that it was living any longer. there was nothing anyone could do to help. >> this is one of those sad stories because you know it was a man made material that ultimately cost this whale its life and this is a threatened species, which makes it even harder.
