thank you for joining us. hostage situation at a texas hospital is over. police shot and killed a man who held people hostage in the emergency room. one of the hostages reached for the suspect's gun, trying to wrestle it away from him, and an officer shot the suspect, killing him. no one else was reported injured. a woman spent four days trapped beneath her dresser. she was moving furniture when the dresser fell. police found her friday. when neighbors noticed her papers piling up, they called police. she had minor injuries but expected to be okay. computer technology gone from desktops to i pads.

door to open. today, house republicans against the new policy will hold a press conference in dc. the policy could effect as many as 800,000 undocumented immigrants suspected immediately, deportation will no longer be enforced under the guidelines protecting the immigrants who came to the u.s. before they were 16 and not older than 30, and have lived in the u.s. for 5 years, with no criminal record. for young immigrants who came here with parents, this policy is huge. >> always had to hide my face behind everyone and say i'm not here illegally but hoping something will happen. >> they want to have the ability to work and pursue higher education and not have to pay for the police takes their parents made. >> those who back the policy in maryland say it compliments the dream act, up for referendum in november. it grants in state tuition to
